This property could not be in a more optimal location. In season, whales can be seen from the balcony where there are daily performances of para-sailing right off the beach. Watch cruise ships in the far horizon cruise in and out of Banderas Bay. Most of all, feel at home here, unwind and relax. We are committed to your total Guest Satisfaction, which is why most of our Guests are repeat customers. The Historic Zone, Viejo Vallarta, is at the heart and soul of PV, and unlike adjacent areas (Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Mita, Sayulita, Bucerias, Mismaloya) is convenient, central and full of things to see and do without having to take a taxi. Many great walks available in all directions (Malecon, Conchas Chinas Beach, Calles Miramar/Matamoros) all inviting and safe, even at night.
Many other properties in the area are in over sized, impersonal buildings or bldgs (eg Molino de Agua) with northern exposures offering little direct sunlight. This unit is filled with natural sunlight, yet there is always shade on portions of the wrap around patio. This condo is in a very quiet intimate setting, with very friendly residents and staff, who will make you feel at home. You will never want to stay in a hotel again (at least this is what our guests write in the Guest Book), and you will probably want to come back again. No pets are allowed in building and building is very peaceful and quiet. This is a corner unit, considered one of the best in the building. Condo offers lots of sunlight, high ceilings, cross breezes, lull of surf below. Unlike other buildings and units, this condo offers prime west/southwest exposures (great for sunsets/views of Los Arcos), with balcony offering sun and/or shade since it wraps around.
I traveled with my daughter, son-n-law, 2 year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter could not wait to return to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. The last two years we stayed at the most incredible condo on the beach.
This 2,000 sq ft. condo with its breathtaking view is perfect in every way for our family of 5. The Great-room is enormous and joins the dining room and gourmet kitchen. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo. Everything was supplied to cook to our hearts content, but the marvelous Mexican restaurants were once again calling our names. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner out. Where else can you get shrimp & Mahi Mahi on a stick and sit with your toes in the sand? We tried every restaurant our host suggested and searched out a few on our own! I’m convinced there is not a bad restaurant in all of Old Town and where else can you feed a family for 5 under $25 and have a “to go” bag? Shopping, entertainment and restaurants are all within walking distance (even with two little kids). If you do take a taxi it’s only $3 or $4. Having small children with us it was nice to have the security gate at the street & poolside. The pool has a very shallow area which was great for small children.
This place has everything you could possibly need and much more: filtered water/ice system, washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, wine cooler, 2 safes, 2 master bedrooms and baths, coffeemaker, tons of towels, landline phone, private heated pool, unlimited free outgoing calls to Canada, USA and many European countries, over 200 channels of cable, huge wrap around balcony, high speed Internet, incredible panoramic view of Bandera Bay from the 4th floor, immaculate building, elevator, dolphins watching from the balcony, immediate access to the beach through a locked gate and NO bugs. Daiquiri Dicks and the Blue Shrimp restaurants just steps away, bank ATM in the building, coffee shop on the ground floor, immediate access to the Malecon walk way. We felt so secure that we left the front door wide open and let the ocean air flow throughout the condo.
It’s July and we experienced no rain during the day and a constant breeze from the ocean. Two sides of the condo are sliding glass doors, which has fabulous cross ventilation. At night we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the stunning sunsets. We stayed here in Nov'2011, as one of 28 stops on an 18-country trip around the world. Host was far and away the best landlord of the entire round-the-world tour, and has since become a friend. After discovering Vallarta on this visit, I lived in Amapas (10 min walk from this property) for 2.5 yrs.
To give you a sense of Dan your landlord: We forgot my charger cord for my electric shaver at this property, and wrote it off as lost. After all, what are the chances of a landlord taking the time to return something as trivial as that, right? But on a whim, my girlfriend e-mailed Dan and said we left it behind.
I swear I'm not making this up: Our host literally organized a friend of his to bring my electric shaver charger cord with him to San Francisco, where he delivered it in person to our North Beach VRBO on the next leg of our adventure. But wait, there's even more... Our host noticed that my Norelco shaver charger matched one that another guest left behind and never claimed. So he sent TWO - both the charger I lost and a spare he had 'in inventory'. To this day I enjoy having TWO chargers for my shaver, allowing me to keep one in my travel bag and one at home!
The story doesn't end there. Our host showed us his other properties in Conchas Chinas (outside of town on the south side, with more private ocean views), and has since become a good friend.
Is there a downside? YES! This host has unfortunately been discovered as the best vacation rental landlord in PV, and all three of his properties tend to sell out a year in advance. THEY'RE WORTH IT. Unfortunately when I reached out to him tonight asking about this property for Christmas Week, he laughed and said that week has been booked for two years. But he's still a super guy, so I'm leaving a review anyway!

This was our second stay at this condo, and we can't say enough about it or our host. It's a bit of an extravagance for one couple, but totally worth it in our view. View - oh, yeah! Right on the beach, with a huge expanse of the bay visible. We were here for two weeks over Christmas and New Year's, and got to watch all kinds of great shows from the privacy of our balcony: Dancers, bands and acrobats in the adjacent square, then an excellent band playing on the beach right below us on New Year's eve - followed by an incredible fireworks display that went all around Banderas Bay. Spectacular! We also love the location for its ease of access to anything and everything. Although there are excellent restaurants everywhere nearby, this time around we cooked a lot more at home, or picked up meals to enjoy on our balcony.
We were fortunate enough on this trip to meet our host, who is exceptionally generous and hospitable - not to mention lots of fun! He has a great eye, and has thought of absolutely everything you might need or want during your stay. It was a real pleasure to get to know him.
The problem with providing a review like this is that it can only lead to increased competition for this wonderful rental. We are being proactive, and have already booked our next stay!
This was our second time in this particular unit, and our 9th time to this complex. Once again our host made every effort above & beyond to make us feel at home. I doubt seriously that we would ever stay in any other unit in this complex. The beds are comfy, the upgrades superb, and the unit has a kitchen made for a gourmet chef. My only disappointment this time was that the pool was out of commission for most of our stay, and of course, the owner has no control over that. When it was back in commission however, it was wonderful as always. Don't miss Juan, the pastry guy that comes by the complex outside the beachside gate every morning around 8:30. Home made goodies that will make your mouth water!

When we walked in the door the first time we were all speechless. It has that WOW factor because of its size, décor and breathtaking view. You can tell the owner took an unbelievable amount of time turning this condo into the perfect place for a vacation. I want to thank him for sharing his little piece of heaven. We now have some wonderful family memories. Hope to return next year.
Wow..and a big wow at that! Not only is this place perfectly located but it is perfectly appointed as well. Extremely comfortable & beautiful but also tranquil & relaxing. With a wrap-around balcony to see & hear the ocean & the goings-on, we had coffee & breakfast every morning (cooked in the perfectly appointed kitchen), snacks & drinks in the afternoon (usually ate lunch or dinner in one of the fantastic restaurants within walking distance...most recommended by the very accommodating owner that I can NOT say enough goods things about!) & watched whales jumping from the balcony!!! We also watched some cruise ships come in & the fun local "shows" directly below us. We took a fun water taxi to two close by & beautiful beaches, Yelapa & Los Animas where we had great food & drink & I pet & loved on so many of the local dogs who are sweet & calm & amazing! What a wonderful trip, I cannot wait to go back! We will either stay in this amazing condo again or try the new one this owner just purchased. Puerto Vallarta ROCKS & so does this condo. Much, MUCH needed week of fun & relaxation after getting through two years of cancer treatments. This owner went waaaaay overboard in making our stay rejuvenating & I'm so very grateful!
This building is on the quieter end of the famous Malecon Seaside Promenade, PVs hallmark attraction. Located on one of the sandiest portions of TVs top beach. Everything is within walking distance, you will never need to take taxis to restaurants, shops or places of interest; all are at your footsteps. Para-sailing directly in front of building on beach. Condo has beach chairs and beach towels + boogie boards. Outside pool gate on beach condo has beach umbrellas set up for your use.
