Spread out in comfort in more than 3,000 square feet of period architecture in a home that was built at the peak of Narragansett's heyday - the 1890s. Its timeless style and construction offers many special features like high ceilings, large rooms and hardwood floors that make it a special and comfortable home by the beach. There are two outside decks to enjoy the sea breezes. The location, ideal for family reunions, weddings and extended families, is one of the most desirable in the state. There are 7 beaches in Narragansett to explore and then enjoy the convenient outdoor shower to wash off the salt and sand from the beach. Don't miss the quintessential fishing port of Galilee where you can buy lobsters right off the boats or jump aboard the ferry to Block Island for a wonderful day trip.
Designed to easily accommodate large families, this wonderful seaside home has 8 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms. Recent renovations make this house particularly inviting and comfortable. A large yard on the side and back of the house provides plenty of room for the kids to play safely - even enough room for a bad-mitten or volleyball game. Watch the lawn games from the cool and breezy upper deck while sipping your favorite beverage.
Stay Cool in Summer & Cozy in Winter: You'll enjoy updated bathrooms and kitchens as well as refinished hardwood floors and new paint. There's also a 'peek-a-boo' view of the ocean from top floor bedrooms! You will love lounging on the Victorian front porch and wicker furniture and the side and rear deck make the house a very welcome and relaxing experience both inside and out.
Both the 1st and 2nd floors suites have a full kitchen and dining area, a living room, tiled bath and 2 bedrooms The third floor has four bedrooms and a tiled bath. The first floor is particularly well suited for elderly guests as there are only 3 steps to the large deck off the kitchen entrance. In the large bathroom, there is also a easy-enter, walk-in shower - no tubs to climb over!
The 2nd floor suite has it's own entrance which also serves the 3rd floor bedrooms.
We needed a larger house in Narragansett for family/friends coming in from out of town for son's wedding. House comfortably furnished, very clean, has three large bathrooms and is within walking distance of the beach and our wedding location at The Towers. The deck out back and the front porch provided pleasant gathering places. A broken window in kitchen although reported was not repaired while we were there. Would definitely recommend this property.
The location was terrific and the house comfy and spacious-enough room for everyone to eat, sit, visit and sleep. The beach was extremely close as well as wonderful nearby shops, eateries, ice cream and coffee! Each family could comfortably walk to a variety of summertime places. We had families from around the country for this re-union including places such as Texas, Wyoming, New Mexico and Oregon and the opinion of each family concluded that this was a great place and one of the best Family re-unions ever!
Great location....perfect for what we were looking for. That is a very comfortable rental, plenty of bedrooms and baths due to extended family vacation. Two large kitchen areas and family rooms. Outside deck was great gathering place for evening dinner and conversation. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
