A fantastic location in the quiet beating heart of the South Bank yet is only a short stroll from the excitement of Covent Garden, the West End & the Olympic sites. South Bank attractions include the beautifully remodelled Royal Festival Hall, The National Theatre & the iconic Oxo Tower (all moments away). The penthouse restuarant at the Oxo Tower offers one of the best views of London.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre (to see or not to see it, that is the question!), the Tate Gallery of Modern Art (Miro a must!) and the staggering London Eye (dwarfing Big Ben!) are all less than a 10 minute walk from the property.
These world class attractions are knitted together by the inspiring river walkway (pedestrianized) which threads the length of the South Bank to London Bridge, the Tower of London & beyond.
All the major tourist attractions are a mere caber toss (a Scottish pastime!) from the apartment, which means that you can save on expensive travel cards during your stay.
Whilst you can genuinely walk to all the major sites on foot, public transport is right outside. A red bus picks up right outside the apartment stopping at attractions between Covent Garden & London Bridge, as do passing black taxis.
Waterloo station (main Train line & Tube line) is only 5 minutes walk away.
Paris is possible as an exciting daytrip on Eurostar in 2 hrs!
Broadwall is arranged over 2 floors & has all amenities. It comprises of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the downstairs one is en suite with shower and a bath whilst the upstairs unit has shower facility. Bathroom and shower room furniture is complimented with chrome taps and shower fittings, towel rail, wall-to-wall mirrors and siena tiled floors.
There is a sofa bed.
Hallways and living/dining & bedrooms feature beautiful cherry wood flooring.
The kitchen has quality designer units featuring curved breakfast bar. Integrated appliances include washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave, toaster stainless steel hob with build in oven and extractor hood.
One of the great benefits of this property is that despite its fabulous central location it enjoys a marvellous secure & peaceful outside deck, leading onto a fantastic urban garden.

A timber decked roof garden with plants, seating and lighting proves very popular & a huge luxury in such a central location.
Security video entry phone has been fitted to the apartment. Remote controlled access to car park.
The apartment has allocated covered parking space within the ground floor car park which may be available upon request.

It is so great for access to most of London, has fantastic transport link & amenities, & is wonderful if you enjoy walking about the city.
Huge private deck - which means great extra space.
Great location keeping those expensive transport costs can be kept to a minimum, so important when travelling with a group.
Immaculate inside, which means you can concentrate on doing what you do best - enjoying yourself!
Parking possible on request when booking made - allowing for those who rent cars security & peace of mind.

A Great Guest-translation
We just arrived from a week's stay in London and the truth is that we have returned delighted with the house. These are, in our opinion, the strengths of this property:
- Location, location and location: the apartment is in the heart of London, close to the London Eye. In this way we were a short distance from the main tourist resorts. At the same time, it is at the gates of a not so crowded by tourists area; so you find usual services (supermarkets, etc ...) under normal conditions.
It also is within walking distance of Waterloo station, so you can move quickly to anywhere in the city.
- A terrace charming: We have had the great good fortune that we have had a great time, so in the morning we could have breakfast on the terrace of the property or sunset we could relax with a beer. The truth is that before we did not go much with it, but it gives a lot of charm to the apartment. Also, just around the corner it is an Italian cafe serving excellent coffee and pastries.
- Relation with the owner: the relationship has been by email and has worked smoothly and cordial. The first day we made a presentation of the neighborhood, which was of great help to guide us and to know (and be known) any special shops.
Otherwise, the house corresponds as described on the website. It is fully equipped, giving the opportunity to prepare some meals and relax at the end of the day, in our case, far more than in a hotel.
This was our second experience with Homeaway and the result has been highly satisfactory.
Couldn't have picked a better location. Able to walk to all the sights and soak up the atmosphere. Barry was one of the most responsive and helpful owners we have encountered.
This is a great 2 bed 2 bath flat with everything you need included! Not only Barry himself with suggestions but also travel guides to use while you're there. The flat is cozy and the outdoor patio a special treat. Nothing was missing.
I can't wait to come back! I'll book around the availability of this flat!!
This place is perfectly located about a block south of the Thames. Barry is extremely helpful. Besides taking the time to help you get your bearings straight, he went above and beyond in helping me out when I needed to have a new credit card shipped to the property on really short notice. He was an absolute life saver. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little place close to the tourist attractions, but just far enough away that you are with the locals.
The flat served us perfectly with 2 separate sleeping rooms and baths. The comfortable terrace gave us fresh air and privacy.
And Barry gave us the perfect walking/orientation tour which included tips on taxis, sightseeing and places to eat (and not) so we immediately felt comfortable everywhere we went.
It really is a block from the Thames and the walk to the Globe Theatre or across the bridge into London proper could not have been easier. This is an ideal location for 2 couples or a family who enjoys the sense of "living" in London while doing as many or as few touristy things as you wish. Good pubs and excellent restaurants nearby. If only we had had more time to explore.
Barry was very responsive to our queries, clear in his directions and very gracious to supply tools when the airline tore a luggage handle. This is a little gem.
This is an amazing location to explore London. Located close to the river and within in walking distance of everything. Barry met us opinion arrival and gave us a great sense of the neighborhood and provided tips on tourist activities but also on places where the locals go. He was super to communicate with and his property is in great condition.
