My family of four and our 2 golden retrievers just spent 3 nights here over February vacation and I can't say enough great things about this house. It is the perfect little log cabin in the most beautiful mountain valley. The house was so warm and inviting and the beds were so comfortable. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The outside wide open spaces were fantastic for the kids and the dogs to run around with no cares in the world. You are off the beaten path so there is no worries about them running out into cars. We skied 2 days at Bretton Woods which was about 45 minutes away, but we had never skied there and it was worth the extra drive. Loon and Waterville Valley are much closer. David was fantastic to work with, so nice and so responsive to all my emails. Thank you very much for such a wonderful place to stay. We are hoping to return in the summer or fall.
We stayed at the cabin during a record cold spell. The cabin is equipped with multiple heat sources which kept us toasty and comfortable even during wind chills of -30 below. We found everything we needed including a comfortable bed and a well appointed kitchen. The owner was great at communicating and even emailed to check on us and give us directions to a nearby scenic waterfall (frozen solid)! Tons of privacy on the dead end dirt road but close enough to everything you could want for recreation and entertainment. Highly recommended!
We were speechless, everything was beyond perfect. Didn't want to leave. Can't wait to go back again.
This log cabin is beautiful and it's location only adds to the experience. This property is amazing. The cabin is on a dead end dirt road surrounded by beautiful woods, wildflowers and wildlife. A short walk from the cabin is a beautiful 30ft waterfall and a clear swimming pond. Everything about this place is incredible! Behind the cabin in the backyard there is a brook. The owner, David, is nice and very helpful. You will never want to leave this beautiful cabin and all it has to offer!
Extensive movie video collection, games, literature. Hiking, cross-country or downhill skiing, 10 minutes to Owl's Nest golf and Jack-o'-lantern golf, or just relax in the hammock with a good book and listen to the babbling brook.
