About Jane Livingston - Owner
I consider myself to be very blessed and fortunate to live in a country where we can enjoy our freedoms. I am a lucky mom to a wonderful teenage son. I find the world and people fascinating and relish the time I can spend traveling and exploring.. I love to travel, experience the world and spend time outdoors.
Jane Livingston - Owner purchased this Cabin in 2008
Why Jane Livingston - Owner chose Estes Park
The river and views of the mountains are wonderful. The sound of the river and the energy from it are incredible. We love sitting by the river and enjoying its ever changing movement and sound.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our home is a very convenient location with just a short walk to restaurants and downtown and only a 5 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park or the YMCA. Year around we love going for a walk or a jog along the river walk that starts a few blocks away and continues along the river, around Lake Estes and around the golf course.

The property was a very nice house on a creek /river. It was perfect for our "Girls Weekend". It was situated behind some storage units and a commercial garage which we did not expect.
Great time to stay in Estes
This week was a great time to stay in Estes as crowds are down. Our cabin was close to everything. Good beds, showers, stocked pantry, hot tub and games. Thank you!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for letting me know about the dryer button so we could get it fixed.
Thank you! Jane
Cute and cozy
Loved being on the river - very nice spacious and everything we needed in the kitchen!
Great location in Estes Park
Traveled with adult kids and its a great spot for walking downtown and easy access to the RMNP.
Literally on the edge of the water, so would not advise for small kids, but was perfect for us
This home was nice and close to Rocky Mountain National Park as well as the town of Estes Park. It was nice to be right by the Big Thompson River which was great for the fishermen in our family. It was plenty spacious for 8 adults and a baby. Well stocked kitchen and the internet worked great. We did run out of propane and one of the rooms in the basement was cold. We could get it to turn on but it wouldn't stay on. However, there is a fireplace in the basement which kept everything warm. A nice little hot tub in the back by the river. It was fun to be out there in the cold right by the river.
Nice stay in Estes
My group of 6 adults and one toddler stayed two nights in this cozy house. Jane allowed us early check in and late check out, which worked out great for us. Other positives: great location on the river; nice little front porch for viewing; tv's everywhere; great kitchen with everything we needed; large, comfortable beds.
However, a few things needed upgrading or repairs: couch in main living space is shot and needs replacing; ice in fridge is bad (just a filter replacement?); shower doors in upstairs bathroom are not quite right; shower flow in downstairs detached bathroom is poor; ability to regulate heat in basement is difficult-too cold or too hot. If some of those issues were addressed, I would definitely stay at this Estes House again and recommend it to others.
Thank you for all your positive comments and we are glad that you would stay with us again. Thank you for letting me know about these items as we can only fix items if we know about them and we fix them as quickly as possible. We are sorry for the inconveniences. If I’d known about these during your stay I could’ve replaced the water filter in the refrigerator as there were new ones above it in the cabinet. I just arrived last night and inspected the couch this morning. It appears some kids must’ve jumped on it because a Board was broken in the middle . I have purchased a new leather couch that will be delivered by 5 PM today. My handyman is working on the shower doors as I am writing this. We are required by law to have low flow shower heads and we tried the water in the shower you referenced and the flow is as it should be. We wish we could have powerful strong showers but that would be against the ordinance . Each room has its own thermostat for the baseboard heat and needs to be adjusted to the occupants liking. We tested them out and they seem to be working fine . . . if you turn them up to high then you need to turn them back down to the temperature you want them to be at.. Once again thank you for your positive comments.
