An allocated parking space is provided at the front of the property.
Ambleside is a great place from which to explore the Lake District. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés to eat out in if cooking is not your thing when on holiday. If you need to buy some more walking equipment you will not be disappointed by the selection of shops in Ambleside.

The prices for lets of LESS THAN A WEEK will ONLY BE CORRECT when a 3 night weekend let or a 4 night week day let are selected. Beautiful
You won't find a better located or well appointed apartment in the Lakes. Modern and comfortable Buttermere is a delight which has everything, including some nice surprises that will make your holiday get off to a great start. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Well located and extremely comfortable apartment. An easy walk into town and to the Lake..
Set slightly up from the main street but an easy walk to the town this apartment is quiet and comfortable with everything you could need. Beautifully furnished and clean. Can't fault it.

Great base for Windermere and surrounding villages and Fells
Very enjoyable stay in Buttermere Apartment. Clean and comfortable and very well maintained apartment. Easy to find and a great location for walking into the town centre or the surrounding fells. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent apartment!
Really enjoyed our short break at the Buttermere apartment in Ambleside. The apartment was very well equipped, with everything we needed (and some nice extras, too - thank you!). It was very well furnished, with everything in good condition; and it was spotlessly clean. Great communication and information from Avril and Peter. We'd have no hesitation in recommending, and hope to be able to stay here again ourselves.

Fantastic home away from home
Lovely modern, clean, home away from home apartment with fantastic views of the fells. Just a 2 minute walk down Peggy Hill puts you right in the heart of Ambleside. A great variety of walks straight from your door with an abundance of pubs, cafes and restaurants to complete your day.

Location
Ambleside is in the heart of the Lake District. This is an ideal location from which to explore 'The Lakes', either by car, bicycle or foot. Rydal Water and Grassmere are only a short drive away if you fancy a gentle stroll (you can walk to Rydal Water from the property).If you are looking for something more strenuous there is the Fairfield Horseshoe.
