Couldn’t Ask for a Better Experience!
We rent on the Whitefish Chain each summer and this is by far our best experience. The property is fabulous and even better than the photos. Communication with the owner was excellent and it is stocked with everything from the lakeside dock to the kitchen with anything we could possibly need. The owners even provided us with firewood! What a special place this was for our retreat with five couples. We would rent it again in a heartbeat!
This is a beautiful property on Rush Lake. Nothing is missing. It has a special up north feel with all the amenities. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddleboarding. There’s a wonderful fire pit with Adirondack chairs out front. We also enjoyed the expensive deck with nice deck furniture and gas grill. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

2nd time staying at property and loved it again!!
Perfect family summer getaway
This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It was perfect for our families (kids and adults). Paddleboards and kayaks were used daily and the house had more than enough room for all of us when the weather wasn't ideal for being outside. We were able to bring 2 boats with ample room to dock them. House had all we needed for cooking/grilling as well as entertainment (PS4 for the kids, satellite TV, Netflix, etc). Area is perfect. Rush lake is great for tubing, yet small enough. Excellent beach access if kids want to play in the sand. Enjoyed the loons and bald eagle sightings. Area is perfect - lots of restaurants, shopping, and things to do. The Wharf is an excellent brunch spot and a quick boat ride away!
Great extended family getaway
Great location, very spacious, very well kept/maintained. Owners were VERY responsive if questions or concerns. Had such a great time we already booked for next year! only downside is beach/sand area is small. however water quality and lake bottom is great for a ways. wonderful place to stay!!
We stayed at the Crosslake cabin with my extended family the last week of June. The cabin and property were amazing!
Cabin- Very spacious and incredibly accommodating with everything we needed (Coffee filters, Laundry supplies, shampoo/conditioner, pots/pans, etc). Cabin is decorated beautifully and had multiple spaces to relax (loft, patio, porch, basement, main living). The room the kids stayed in (2 full beds, 2 twin beds) was adorable and the perfect place for them to unwind. We experienced a few rainy days, but never felt cramped with 6 adults and 4 kids. They had a ton of things to do at the cabin – video games, smart tv’s, wifi, board games. Linens and towels were top notch and they had extra of everything just in case. Rooms were all a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Property – Beautifully landscaped with a great firepit area. There is a huge deck with two tables and a grill -we ate many meals outside and enjoyed our morning coffee with a beautiful view of the lake. Tons of wild life around – Bald and golden eagles, deer, humming birds, turtles, etc. They had paddle boards and kayaks available to use which were lots of fun. We had space for two boats and the area around the dock was sandy and easy to access.
Location – Location was great. Nearby Crosslake had everything we needed and more! The Warf, Zorbaz, 14 Lakes Brewery, Ace Hardware - as well as a multitude of shops, bars and restaurants. Reeds Market was a large size and had everything we needed for our week at the cabin. Public Access for the boats was easy to find and a quick drive to the cabin.
Lake – Rush lake was great and connected to the Whitefish Chain of lakes. Water was clean and clear – excellent for water sports, swimming, and hanging out on the multiple sandbars. It was never crowded, but had it been, there is always the options to head over to one of the many connected lakes. Most mornings the water was so calm it looked like glass – excellent for paddle boarding and kayaking. We didn’t have much luck fishing on Rush Lake, but it could have just been the luck of the draw.
Owners – Excellent! Jeremy and Joelle were quick to answer any questions we had regarding the cabin or area. Very nice people!
Overall the cabin was an excellent experience. We loved it so much that we already booked for next year. Enjoy!!!
This secluded property is a short drive into the city of Crosslake where there are several antique stores, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment.
