|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
The house is situated in the oldest part of Antibes old town between the Remparts and the Provencal market and less than one minute walk to either. This historic and very quiet pedestrian street is steps from the Cathedral, the Mussee Picasso, cafes and bars. Nearby restaurants range from small bistros to those with a Michelin star rating. The yacht harbour and beach are a three minute walk.
The house is a traditional seaside town house with French doors and Juliet balconies on the first and second floors. The foundations date back many centuries while the house itself is probably 150 years old. As you stand on the cobbled street near the entrance to the house the Mediterranean is a mere 30 metres away framed by traditional stone buildings. The view just gets better as you climb the steps to the dining area and then finally rewarded again by the magnificent panoramic sea view over terracotta tiles from the roof top terrace.
On top of the cave with laundry, ground, 1st, and 2nd floor each have a sleeping room with respectively a sofa bed (140x200), a bunk bed (2x90x200), and a sofa bed (140x200). 3rd floor include the kitchen with dining space and stairs to the roof top terrace. All rooms are walk-through to get access to the other floors. Bath (shower and sink) is at the ground floor while toilet is at the 2nd floor. During night, both 1st and 2nd floor can access toilet without entering the other room.
The kitchen includes dishwasher, oven, ceramic plates, and a dining table that may fit up to 6 persons and sliding glass doors to the balcony with stairs to the roof top terrace. The terrace includes lounge furniture for two to lie down or 6 to sit.
The house is newly renovated with respect for its Provincial style and decorated with new furniture. The kitchen is brand new and include high quality oven and ceramic plates. Air-conditioning and heating has been installed in 2013.
The house easily sleeps 6 persons. The dining area is not suitable for 6 grown-ups, this will be tight, but is suitable for our family of two adults, two teenagers, and two children. The house does sleep 6 adults, but is best suited for up to 4 adults and two kids. Kids should be non-mobile infants or so old that they can handle the stairs. Stairs are a major part of the house.

Location in the very best part of Antibes, the terrace and the kitchen. Small, but easily room for our family.
We just had a wonderful holiday with our two boys of 6 and 8 in this house in Antibes located in a quiet narrow street connecting the market place to the coast.
The most fantastic part of this funny narrow tall old house is the terrace at the top. Once up there, you may enjoy a 360 degree view of the the close by coastline and the mountains far away.
Climb the stairs and enjoy.
My family including my two boys of 6 and 8 just had a wonderful holiday in Antibes. The house is located in the busiest part of town, but in a quite narrow side street connecting the market place to coast.
The most fantastic thing about this old funny narrow and tall house is the terrace. One of the highest placed terraces in the old town with a 360 degree view of the mountains and the close by coastline.
Climb the stairs and enjoy the view!
We came to a small, but charming cityhouse in the very middle of Antibes. You can hardly find a better place in Antibes, 50 m. from the Picasso museum and the market and still quiet, considering you are in the midst of a very touristy town.
The house has 4 floors and a roof-terrasse.
As it is a narrow house, there are only one room and a stair at each floor. It contained what we needed for a good holiday: airconditioning, tv, internet and on the 4. floor a kitchen, simple, but new and functional.
The roof-terrasse on the 5. floor is unique. Small, but with a 360 degree view around the sea and the whole of Antibes. It must be the highest point in Antibes!
The house is a little old-fashioned, but clean and nice. Scandinavian furnitures. A lot of stairs, but you get use to it quickly.
Because of the stairs, the house may not be suitable for very small children, old people or disabled persons, but for a couple or a family with up to 4 children it is perfect - a nice house in the middle of one of the most beautiful towns in south of France, and at a reasonable price.
We didn't hired a car in Nice airport for the stay, and never missed one. It is easy to go to Cannes, Nice and other places along the coast either by bus or train. In Antibes a car is not needed. Beach, harbour, restaurants, affairs, everything is just around the corner.
Would we like to come to the house another time? Certainly.
We had a great vacation in this charming old house in the very center of old Antibes, close to beach, harbour, market, plenty of restaurants, shops etc. The house fully lived up to our expectations. We would love to come back!
