In 2000 we purchased Hundon Grange and its various outbuildings after it came on the market for only the 2nd time in its 400 year history. Originally owned by Cambridge College it was in need of renovation and took us many years to restore. After completion we decided that it was just too lovely to keep to ourselves and the idea of converting the former Grain store and obtaining permission to have Yurts on site became a plan. We opened our doors in 2012 and have been simply delighted with the wonderful feed back we have received.
In 2013 we extended The Granary to accommodate up to 10 guests and in 2015 we have added a 3rd Yurt and cottage room and hot tub for Yurt guests too.

From the first time we visited Suffolk we loved every minute of it. The slower pace of life and old fashioned values of the local people, the wonderful and interesting historical sites and places of interest with a mix of tea shops, antique fairs, old traditional pubs and restaurants give Suffolk a unique charm.
Easily accessed from London. A peaceful and tranquil location for all to enjoy. We have the most amazing and very large natural pond. It is stocked with koi carp and freshwater fish. It holds an abundance of wild life and we have seen kingfishers, woodpeckers, dragonflies, otters, voles, rabbits, deer and much more. We have a permanent family of moorhens living on it. We also get visits from various birds including swallows, swifts and Canada geese and often have a flock of ducks land. As dusk falls bats come out of hiding and you can see them over the pond catching insects.
We have the most incredible sunsets - no two nights are ever the same. Pour yourself a glass of wine and see for yourself.
