3rd floor (Penthouse) apartment on the Puerto Marina complex in Los Alcazares, Murcia. There is a lift. Two bedrooms, (one double, one twin) one bathroom, open plan living room and kitchen. Balcony, and solarium with views of the sea. Seagrass sofa, rustic dining table and chairs, microwave, full oven, fridge, iron and ironing board, radio/CD player, TV and washing machine. Plenty of storage space, all linen provided. There is air conditioning which is operated by means of a meter. Cards for the aircon can be purchased from our Apartment Manager. The TV only has Spanish TV stations but if you want to keep up with the sport, a lot of the local bars have SKY Sports. There is a small table and 4 chairs for use on the balcony which has a view of the pool. There is a large roof space and small table and chairs for use there, plus two sunbeds. There is an underground parking area if required but you can also park on the road outside the complex.

All the local amenities you require for a great relaxing holiday. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks, and small individual shops all within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. The sandy non tidal beach is a 10 minute walk. Sunbeds can be hired on the beach. Cycle hire is also available.

There are a couple of markets in Los Alcazares.

Why ROBERT AND YVONNE chose Los Alcázares

We spent a weekend in the area and looked at many options and styles of property. The location of the apartment was appealing, as we felt that Los Alcazares still had a traditional Spanish 'feel' but catered for non residents also. The fact that you could walk to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and the beach was a huge appeal.

It is only a 10 minute car ride from Murcia (St Javier) airport.

What makes this apartment unique

The great climate, and the feeling that this was a place where you could go and completely relax and chill out. We liked the layout of the apartment, and the fact that it had a solarium which is a sun trap. We also love sitting on the balcony for breakfast and lunch, where there is a lovely cooling breeze from the sea. The complex is well looked after and cared for and is very security conscious.

The walk to the town and beach is flat so very suitable for wheelchair users.

10 minutes from the airport.

We have an apartment Manager, Sheila, who will make sure the apartment is ready for you, and will meet you and settle you in. He can also provide a welcome pack of basic requirements, i..e milk, bread, cereal etc, which is useful if you are arriving late at night.

great place to stay

We stayed here for 10 nights. 2nd time to this resort. Was what we expected. great pools nice and clean. Was never too over crowded. Apartment was fine..if yr someone who doesnt like to sit in the sun too much the balcony was ideal..nice to have yr morning brew.Was pleased to have the roof terrace which provided all you need..all day sunshine and shady area for the kids to lie and read. Would come back to same flat again without doubt..Shiela the manager was canny too!..when the pool starts to get a bit boring day after day..the kids and hubby went go karting..a short taxi drive away and something to break the day. We did the beach for a day which was good. Unfortunately after visiting The Run for a meal....well its called run for a reason..I was so poorly for 4 days. The curry leaf though..superb!!..Not much happening on an evening..we expected maybe a cple of nights with live music in at least one of the many places to eat and drink..maybe our timing wasnt right i dont know.The lucky lucky lads with bags and glasses were a hoot and if you said no thankyou..they didnt pester you.Dont be afraid to half the price of what they ask for the bags..we had some laughs with them..and came home with a few bags for myself too.

There is also a very good crazy golf course in Torre Pacheco, which is a taxi ride away, or easy to get to if you hire a car. Lovely well equipped apartment

The apartment is in a lovely complex with several pools all very clean. Very secure gated complex. Everything about the apartment is excellent its very well equipped (even down to a cool bag and ice packs!). The owners are clearly very thoughtful of their guests. A great location for restaurants, supermarkets and its easy to walk to the beach. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a typical Spanish town. We will be back!

Lovely , spacious and very clean modern apartment . Within walking distance of anything you need , shops , bars , restaurants and beach . Great pool area and loved the roof terrace . Will stay again , thankyou

Wonderful place to enjoy the Mar Menor

The complex and the apartment have all you need to have a great holidays.

The only thing we miss was the air conditioning for the summer. But in May it was not necessary.

We probably repeat.

Los Alcazares is a small town with a mixture of Spanish residents, ex-pats, and holiday visitors. It is a place which is excellent for chilling out and relaxing. It is suitable for families with young children, couples. There are no night clubs or discos. The beach is non tidal, and sandy. The climate is excellent and gets quite hot in the summer months. There is cycle hire, a wide range of restaurants to cater for different tastes, several bars, supermarkets, and banks all within a 5 minute walk of our apartment. The beach is a 10 minute walk. There are communal pools on the complex. If you wish to see further afield, i.e. Cartagena or Murcia both of which are very nice towns, it is recommended that you hire a car, although you can also take the bus. Even further afield with the use of a car is the Sierre D'espuna. There are several world class golf courses in the vicinity. There is also a mini crazy golf course just off the main road of the old town. There are beachside bars which are open during the main holiday season.
