We believe this is the 21st Century way to stay. For the confident traveler it is the answer to over expensive, over formal and boring visits in hotels. Chill out, put your feet up and relax in your own space. Get up when you want, eat when you want, entertain if you like or have a board meeting; you can do it all! Hotels are much the same the world over but privately owned homes reflect the culture of the city in which you find yourself. Stay with us and live like a Londoner!
The flat was perfect for our family of two adults and two children and the Home from Home service was excellent.
We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and chic apartment Park Close 25. The apartment is nicely furnished with comfortable beds and linens. There are windows in every room of this light filled apartment, with views of the adjacent park (But if you want to sleep late, you can, thanks to custom room darkening shades. ) I have rented vacation properties from several agencies --none have been as easy to deal with and communicate with as Home from Home.
The service was good. Your cab drivers that worked for you were BRILLIANT My parents are coming over in June and I will get them to use you also Much thanks
The two weeks we spent in London were very pleasant and allowed us to spend a lot of quality time with our daughter, a postgraduate student at King's College, London, who stayed with us. For grocery shopping, having Waitrose within 5 minutes walk was convenient. Whole Foods was quite a bit further at about 15 minutes. All-in-all, though, a very nice stay near one of our favorite parks.
We had a great time in London and got to see the many wonderful sites. Everything was easily accessible because the flat was so close to the tube station. We would like to thank Home from Home for their excellent organisation and we loved the property.
Holland Park is one of London’s most beautiful parks and is just around the corner. The property itself is situated in Ilchester Place, which leads off Kensington High Street – There is excellent shopping and a wide selection of fabulous restaurants on and around the High Street. There is a large Waitrose supermarket just three minutes walk from the apartment and a ''Whole Food” organic store that covers six floors and is apparently the largest in the world! Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and The Royal Albert Hall are all just minutes away!
High Street Kensington. An 8 minute walk. There is also a regular bus service from the high street.
