|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
We rented the blue apartment for 9 days. It was perfect and had everything we needed in the apartment to cook our breakfast and to be comfortable during our stay. The property is very pretty with a gorgeous pool and grounds that are cared for on a regular basis. The area was very quiet but close to all the beaches and activities. Arashi beach was our favorite beach with snorkeling and relaxing within a five minute drive. Fulvia was our very kind host and she made sure we had everything we needed during our stay in Aruba. We hope to return again soon!
This was our first experience with using VRBO, and we had many concerns with renting an apartment in a house instead of a hotel. From the moment our family arrived, we knew this was the best choice!
I traveled to Aruba with my husband and toddler for our 5th wedding anniversary. Fulvia greeted us as soon as we arrived, and was exceptionally friendly. The pool was lovely, and lit for evening use. The house is gorgeous, and immaculate. It is easily within walking distance to one of the best beaches on the island, and we were pleasantly surprised that Fulvia provided beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and coolers for us to take. It is also close enough to the more touristy section of the island for shopping and sightseeing. We stayed in the studio, which was perfect for the 3 of us, and had ample space for our pack and play. Another unexpected benefit was that unlike a hotel, there are no loud and rowdy people slamming doors in the middle of the night, so our child slept like a champ!
Fulvia has made this one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken. We look forward to coming to visit again soon, and have no desire to ever stay at a hotel on the island again!
Before arriving in Aruba, I did extensive research on where to stay, and I must admit, my wife and I hit a home run with our choice of La Dolce Vita Apartments! We stayed in the Blue apartment for 6 nights and the studio for 2 nights. Both apartments were beautiful, spotless and provided all the comforts one would need for a perfect holiday. My wife and I are beach lovers, so we were appreciative that Fulvia provided beach chairs and coolers for all of her guests.
In my opinion, the best beaches in Aruba are Malmok Beach, Boca Catalina and Arashi (especially if you are into snorkeling like me). All three of these beaches are within a 10-15 walk or a 2-3 minute drive from the property. After a long day at the beach, it was nice coming home to a large swimming pool, with its nice modern loungers, an outdoor shower and shaded areas to get out of the sun.
The apartment's kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, a large fridge, ice cube trays, toaster, microwave and a 4 burner stove top oven. We found this kitchen suited all of our needs, as we ate in most nights. A large grocery store called Super Food, is a short drive away and carries an impressive selection of meat, fish, cheese, fruit, veggies, and baked goods.
The host Fulvia, was really nice to us throughout our stay, but was never intrusive. Most of the time, we felt like we had the entire grounds to ourselves. I was a bit apprehensive of providing a deposit via money transfer, but these concerns were quickly dismissed. To show the kindness of this host, when our returning flight home was cancelled, we gave her a call from the airport and she was kind enough to arrange for us to stay at another property down the street, since her property was full. This turned a rather stressful situation into a positive one.
After exploring most of the island, we were really happy to call La Dolce Vita apartments our home during our vacation. There is a cool vibe in the area of Malmok that we just seemed to fall in love with. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Aruba.
