Perfect holidays but....a little "but"...

  • 4 of 5

Very good stay....But the swimming pool was always really cold...

We agree that it's in the mountain and May a little bit early...but if we consider the price of one week, it is certainly possible to help It to be warm...

The second time in Zalia and we never enjoyed the swimming pool...

So for us, only four stars and a half! 😊?

For sure, we will come again! Everything is perfect....calm, magical place and house.

Absolut traumhaft!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful Villa!

  • 5 of 5

You know you picked the right villa when you start to get the feeling that you are spending too much time seeing Spain and not enough time enjoying the villa. It sounds crazy, I know, but this place is that nice. Let's start with the view: It's incredible. The house sits at the end of a ridge, so on three sides the land falls away to reveal sweeping views of the valley below. Not only is there a great view, but the house feels very separated from other houses. There are other houses around, but they are below the house or on nearby ridges. If you want privacy, this house will give you that.

The outdoor areas of the house are well designed to allow you to enjoy the beautiful view. There are numerous areas to enjoy outside, including tables, lounge chairs and a "conversation pit." We immensely enjoyed the warm nights of Andalucía in this backyard. The pool is nice as well, and for our early September trip, a very comfortable temperature.

The house itself is a bright white modern Moroccan design that is absolutely beautiful. I like the architecture of southern Spain, but this is very special. The house has air conditioning in the main room and the two bedrooms. The mattresses are comfortable, too, which is not always a given in vacation rentals. The bathrooms are modern and clean.

The photos on the Homeaway listing are great and the house lives up to them. If we were to come back to Andalucía, we would look no further than this house.

Stylish and beautifully designed villa.

  • 5 of 5

Situated on a ridge with breathtaking 360 degree views. There is much to see in the area, the sea being about 20minutes away and the Pueblos Blancos of Andalucía on the doorstep. Granada is also handy with the "must see" Alhambra. Our highlight of every day was to sit on the terrace with a glass of wine, just looking at the fantastic view, after some sight-seeing and a refreshing dip in the good-sized pool. The interior of the villa is beautifully laid out - very special, with high quality furniture and fittings. We are going to try out the owners other properties in Marrakesh and Fuertaventura.

Just Heavenly

  • 5 of 5

The previsit information was friendly and very prompt, moreover accurate!

We arrived at the villa and it was warm (on a rainy day) and extremely well presented, spotlessly clean and stylish. The photographs just don't do it justice and the location has views which are out of this world. It really is a house which "is hard to leave".

We drove to Malaga and enjoyed our visit to the Museo Picasso. We were lucky to catch one of the last Easter processions in Frigliana. The house is close to the small white town of Alcaucin where fountains flow and goats wander the hillsides. On the sunniest of days we breakfasted and walked Burriana and Herradura beaches.

Villa Zalia we recommend you unhesitatingly!
