Beautiful apartment and great hosts!
Our hosts Carlo and Adele were fantastic! The apartment was beautiful, had a great location and a spectacular view.
Carlo had helped us with a car rental and transportation to the train.
Will definitely stay there again!
Thank you so much. Nick and Daria
Thank you, Daria and Nick. You have been wonderful guests!
Hope to meet you again.

Lovely bright home
The house is on the quiet Main Street of the town, a short walk from basic necessities and a short drive to a larger commercial centre. Carlo and Adele are kind and helpful hosts. We enjoyed having a drink on the terrace and admiring the view. We were also thrilled to find a French press and a toaster; neither is a common find in Italy. After weeks without, it was a treat to have a taste of familiar breakfast. Sunsets are fabulous. Photographers will not want for opportunities to point and shoot. We were there in July and did find it a bit warm for sleeping at night without a/c. The fans and dehumidifier certainly helped. We understand the humidity was unusually high for the season. Nonetheless, we spent a relaxing week in a quintessential Italian town and happily recommend Carlo and Adele's home.
Carlo is great and very helpful!
We had a great time. There are many beaches to choose from within 45 minute drive. We liked the pebble beaches because you don’t get sand in all your things. There is so much good seafood to eat in the area!
There is a rail yard nearby that’s a bit noisy but other than that everything was great!
Wonderful views in a wonderful town.
the apartment is located on the main street in town. Parking is easy to find. The apartment is clean and charming. It’s sorta like a townhouse with three levels. The main level has the kitchen and dining and living area. Up a few steps is the main bedroom with bathroom and a balcony where you can sit out and see the sea and mountains. The low level has a second bedroom, bath, and washer for clothes. There is also the main outside patio with a covered area for dining. The views are incredible. We sat out many an evening enjoying our meals and the sunset and evening sky. The beach is a few minutes drive away and it was easy to find parking in the main lot. The restaurants on the sea are very economical and the seafood is fresh and delicious. Carlo and his family are wonderful hosts and quick to help. We, my wife and I, and another couple were very pleased. Thank you Carlo!!
This property was perfect for us. We were a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) so we rented this house and "the bird's nest" on the 3rd floor in order to accommodate everyone. The view was probably my favorite part. Having breakfast on the patio was a wonderful way to start the day. Adele and Carlo were very friendly, helpful and always available to answer any questions. They greeted us with a delicious cake and honey hazlenut spread. So sweet and hit the spot for hungry travelers (for a few days). They also provided instant coffee/tea etc. The home is spotless and well equipped with everything you could need for excursions to the beach etc. We felt very spoiled by all the details and efforts to make it feel like home. It was also very nice to have a dishwasher and a washing machine. San Vito Chietino is a charming village full of friendly people and picturesque views. We were visiting family in Ortona so we did not spend much time in San Vito Chietino but we hope to return because it was wonderful. We visited a family vinyard Azienda Agricola Olivastri Tommaso and would highly recommend checking it out and picking up some delicious wines. We also enjoyed hiking down to the beach (stairs are located near the pink gelateria in the village-we took the long way down but stairs are probably a bit safer and much shorter-lots of steps so if you have trouble with steps take the car). Take time to explore the village you will love it! Thank you Adele and Carlo for your hospitality. We felt our stay in your home was a great value and appreciate all your efforts to make this a great place for your guests to enjoy and relax.
Spacious apartment in charming San Vito Chiettino with sea and mountain vistas
Adele and Carlo are gracious and generous hosts. The apartment is thoughtfully appointed with spacious rooms on three levels and two private patios for dining and relaxing while enjoying the sunset views of the Gran Sasso mountains and the azure Adriatic. Perfect accomodation for two, or two couples,or families would be comfortable with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms on separate levels. Lovely town with amenities and pristine sand beach and trabocchi on the pier. Lanciano is 12km away and well worth a visit. For Canadians, theWWII Moro River cemetery where the remains of 1600 Canadian soldiers have been beautifully memorialized is a humbling site to visit.
Carlo's English is excellent and he is a good resource for restaurants and sights to see. Adele thoughtfully provides everything one needs in a home away from home.
Mille grazie ,Adele and Carlo.

From its 120 meters high above the sea, San Vito Chietino is a charming town in the heart of the Costa Trabocchi, defined by Gabriele D'Annunzio "the country of the broom." The Belvedere Marconi, for the inhabitants of the "Hill", can certainly be considered one of the most beautiful terraces on the Adriatic. The place is quiet and ideal for a vacation getaway, the clear water and good food. The beaches are within a few minutes. There are numerous restaurants within reach of every pocket, and a unique experience is to eat fresh fish on the 'overflow'. The culinary culture of the place is renowned, as well as the production of oil and wine. The ancient city of Lanciano is only minutes away by car or train, as well as the vibrant city of Pescara. For hiking enthusiasts, the Maiella National Park is only 30 minutes by car.
