Located on the fifth floor of a stately 19th century building with no elevator, this apartment is bright and incredibly comfortable. Fitted with modern appliances including a washing machine, TV, wifi, telephone, and linens, you will have everything you need to make you feel at home in Paris. We also recently added new double glazed windows in both the living room & bedroom overlooking the street to avoid any noise from the street during the night.

The living room and first bedroom open onto balconies overlooking the rue des Halles.

The other bedroom is in the rear of the apartment and has an ensuite bathroom with a large bathtub with shower fixture and 2 sinks. A separate toilet is located just to the right of the entrance.

The kitchen is unusually large for a Parisian apartment, containing a microwave, oven, stove, US fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and storage and counter space.

IMPORTANT : PLEASE READ THIS : The street where the apartment is located is being completely renovated.

There will be an inviting new public garden, a larger pedestrian district, a new building inspired by nature.

(La Canopée), a greater number of easier-to-use pathways and routes, a larger, more functional regional train station, an enlarged, refurbished shopping center, more cultural facilities and a reorganized underground road network.

Big work of demolition will take place between July 15th & August 15th, 2017 ONLY DURING THE DAY. The whole project should come to an end by the end of September 2017.

We spent a beautiful week in Paris last July. The purpose of the trip was to bring my daughter and two of her friends to the City of Lights for the first time. All in all, it was a most magnificent experience in a city I have loved for a long, long time! I booked our apartment stay through GLAMAParis, and they took care of all of the necessary details very professionally in advance so that all we had to do was arrive and get the keys. We were greeted very amicably by Samia, one of the GLAMA staff, who was very courteous and understanding despite our delay from the Eurostar train.

The apartment was everything we expected from description and photos. It was a very comfortable place to retire to after long days of walking around the city. We knew we had a 5th floor walk-up, but somehow this was charming to us in this beautiful refurbished older building, it reminded us of days gone by. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, it was chic, spacious, and in a wonderful central location for enjoying tourism in the city. The agency was professional and accommodating when a few unexpected glitches arose, which gave me the reassurance that I would use them again when I come back to Paris another day... I highly recommend GLAMAParis for booking a vacation stay. Thank you, Damien, for everything you did to ensure we have fond memories of our stay, and I look forward my return.

Incredible apartment! Location perfect; everything (almost) in walking distance!

My son and I stayed in the apartment for 8 days and loved every minute of it! It's cozy, has a great view, wonderful kitchen, fantastic (and very safe) neighborhood, an underground mall with over 100 shops and metro connections down one escalator and just out our front door! (Better yet, its a straight shot to CDG in 20 minutes at a mere 10.60 euros pp)

It's only drawback are the 120 + steps up to the front door! I am 79 and in great health so it was no problem - but we just made sure we made the trip back up at the end of our day!

We ate in for breakfast and dinner and really helped cut our dining expenses. The award winning bakery near door was wonderful; two markets - one in each direction - less than a block away had everything we we needed. We even found a bar to watch NFL games in the wee hours that was just across the cite on the left bank.

The management couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. This was my 5th trip to Paris and by far the very best accommodations I have ever had - I recommend it 100%! I would return in a heartbeat!

Well appointed apartment in a great location

The apartment is spacious and the kitchen and bathroom are both very nice. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Chatelet and Les Halles metro stops. There are many bars, cafes, restaurants, bakeries and stores nearby. The Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral and many other must see attractions are also relatively close. There is a lot of construction in the area so the street noise during the day can be loud. Also, there is no air conditioning so the apartment could be very warm during the middle of the summer since it is on the top floor. The Glamaparis staff were very helpful and a representative was there to meet us when we arrived. We had an excellent time and would rent the apartment again.

Beautiful apartment, perfect location!

I stayed here for a week with my mom and sister. The area is safe for three women and the apartment was plenty of space for the three of us! We cooked two dinners there too and thought the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable and the terrace was lovely. As others have said, there are a lot of stairs, but we survived! The worst part is with your luggage on the first and last day. ;) The location is also perfect if you are taking advantage of the metro as it's near two large stations and you can access almost anything. It's also a quick walk to the Louvre or Notre Dame... truly Paris is such a "walking" city and this apartment is right in the middle!

The localization is perfect. My husband, my two children and I walked all day along. We went by foot to the Eiffel Tour, Sacre Couer, Bastille, Arc d. Triumph, Louvre, Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou,... we really lived Paris. The metro station (that is a great shopping:Chattelet Les Halles!) is in front of the appartment . The appartment is excellent. It´s exactly like described. Joao de Oliveira (Glamaparis) was very polite. There are many restaurants, rotisseria, and supermarkets near the appartment. Congratulations Glamaparis! You do an excellent work.

Pretty good

The property was ready early, so it was nice that we were able to gain access as soon as we arrived in Paris. The property was very spacious, so a good price for the room, especially in Paris. The location was fantastic. The agency offered many suggestions of local patisseries, restaurants, etc. nearby that was helpful. The view was great as well and the added bonus of the terrace. The furniture was worn and it wasn't exceptionally clean. A few nuisances where the kitchen light was out and we never got a response about someone coming to fix it for us. I don't want to spend my time on vacation dealing with such things, so we just blew it off, but it was annoying. The only lighting for the toilet was some twinkle lights which made it difficult to see in the bathroom and was just a bit weird. Overall, it was a nice stay but didn't impress us greatly.

The area known as les Halles was once the market district of Paris, its 'stomach', as writer Emile Zola called it in 1873.

Today the covered marketplace has been replaced by an underground transport hub, but the area remains a bustling, dynamic organ of Parisian life.

Stay tax $1.02 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the manager upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 18 years.

All of our rates are weekly rates which means the price remains the same whether for 5 or 7 nights.
We however do offer some special rates for shorter stays depending on calendars and periods.

Our rates include linens, towels & a final cleaning at the end of your stay.

Payment by credit card (AMEX, VISA, MASTERCARD), cash, and wire transfer. Minor fees apply to credit card transactions. 2.5% for Visas, 3.5% for AMEX

Since 2015, a tourist tax of 0,83 € is charged per guest & per night (except for children under 18)

For shorter stays, the security deposit is typically made by credit card print, meaning no extra money is charged up front. Ask us for more details.

A representative will greet you at the apartment with the keys. This service is free of charge, with the exception of late check-ins (any day after 7pm), Sunday check-ins, and holiday check-ins. These incur a 50 €. fee. After 10pm, the fee increases to 75€.
Wifi, international calling, cable TV, and final cleaning are included in the rate.
