There is a 24 hour Tesco on the corner and plenty of restaurants and shops on High St Kensington which is 5 minutes away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment in Kensington. It was within 10 mins walk of the tube station at Earls Court and was located in a nice area. The living area was large and airy and the bedroom (located at the back) was quiet, despite the street being busy. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom window overlooked a back garden. There was a big bathroom area down a small flight of stairs, with a washing machine also. Annette and Tony were very welcoming and helpful hosts. Security was good. Probably the only recommendation we'd have would be for the apartment to have a clothes dryer. We loved it here and would very happily return.
We had the pleasure of staying in the flat for 5 nights-a couple with a 7 year old child. The location is great, 10 min. walk to tube station and 2 min. to High st. Kensington and bus stop.
The place was clean, nice and had all we needed (kitchen, bedding, towels etc.).
Annette the manager went out of her way to answer any question, from our first contact via mail and untill our last day.
Would defenatly go back!!!
My husband and I stayed here a week. The apartment was, if anything, prettier than the pictures showed, as it was filled with sunlight front and back. The large bedroom window faces a garden with large plane trees, which were in full leaf when we were there. The garden also meant quiet and fresh air for sleeping. Kitchen had all needed appliances, including a dishwasher!
It was a short walk to the High Street, and Earl's Court tube connected us with the rest of London. Annette was charming and helpful, and even found us a wonderful place to eat--the Abingdon--on our arrival afternoon when we were famished. I'd recommend this as a wonderful value and lovely flat for a visit to London.
Very convenient location, walking distance to High Street Kensington with all the shops as well as easy access to both Holland Park and Hyde Park. Westfield shopping centre is 15 minutes walk away.
Great transport links both on busses and the underground.
The apartment is in great condition, clean and comfortable. Every request was catered for and we were made to feel at home.
Would definetely recommend staying there and would not hesitate to stay there again.
