So impressed - already rebooked

  • 5 of 5

Second time staying at this property will be the third time in September 2017. Already booking for next year. Great base for travelling around Norfolk. Not many places where you can see the sea when you step off the driveway and the road itself is really quiet. Great location for the walking the dogs on the green area at the bottom of the road up to the lighthouse and down to the beautiful dog beach. What can I say about the house. It is so well equipped, clean and tidy, spacious and very dog friendly. The area to the side is a god send when you have wet dogs as they can be towelled before going into the main house - not that we have that many wet days in Hunstanton. The garden is great, not overlooked and quiet. Perfect size for two little dogs to run around and secure so not worrying about them escaping on their own little holiday adventure. You can really relax in this house. Hopefully going to be rebooking for quite a while.

Home from Home

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic week at Medlar Cottage, it was our 2nd visit and will be returning next year. Walking into Medlar puts a smile on our faces; it is clean, smells fresh, well stocked kitchen with utensils and crockery etc.. The added extra is the porch/utility on the side of the house with extra fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toilet. Private enclosed rear garden with patio furniture and barbecue. The bedrooms are all double sized, some larger, plenty of drawers and hanging space. With 8 of us sleeping 3 toilets was handy. Dog friendly. Walking distance to the beach and Hunstanton town itself. I highly recommend Medlar Cottage.

A good family holiday

  • 4 of 5

As advertised, this property was in a good but quiet position and the family were able to walk to the beach and take leisurely strolls into the centre of Hunstanton. Parking several cars was not a problem. It was well equipped and spacious for a large family with a variety of needs. Booking was very smooth and all communication was dealt with thoroughly and very promptly.

A first class holiday home

  • 4 of 5

A excellent property in an idyllic location. Property provided everything required for our stay with plenty of space and equipment for 6 adults. The garden proved to be perfect for us and totally secure and enjoyable for the dog. We would definitely return here in the future.

fabulous homely cottage

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cottage everything needed for a family holiday. We all liked the layout of the cottage ,we slept downstairs away from grandchildren which was ideal. We liked the 3 toilets essential for large party of mixed ages. The lounge and kitchen diner were a good size also and plenty of seats .The children liked the garden which is safe and enclosed.Location is great handy for walk to beach and town .We are interested in bird watching and the location is perfect for reserves and sightings of unusual birds my son was delighted with what he saw.Hunstanton is a nice seaside town with good chippys and nice restaurants(Chives) we especially liked.
