Great location for a girls getaway weekend. Great food and music here in Asheville – who new?? The fall colors were at their peak and Biltmore was so majestic bursting with fall colors. We took a horse back ride and it was so relaxing and invigorating. Chimney Rock hike, apple cider, apple turnovers and yes, even just plain old apples really made it a fall worth remembering.
We stayed in this apartment for three nights -- two couples and a baby. It was very clean and comfortable, great beds, lovely kitchen. Convenient location - right on a major street but we were not at all bothered by noise. Close to downtown, easy drive to Biltmore and other attractions. It is nicely stocked with dishes, towels, linens, etc. - everything you need except bath soap, water pressure and wireless internet!
I would definitely recommend this apartment as a fairly economical alternative to downtown hotels, especially if two couples can share expenses. There are no "views" like you would find in a mountain cabin ... we wanted convenience, economy and a place to be with our family and this fit the bill perfectly. There is only one bathroom and the shower isn't great. But these were pretty minor inconveniences.
We loved Magnolia's for dinner. We were in town for a wedding so didn't eat out much other than that, but did enjoy the Corner Kitchen in Biltmore Village for lunch and Carmelo's (I think) for Sunday brunch.
You do have to climb some fairly steep stairs to go in and out, so not for those with disabilities. Definitely need a car. I don't know the policy on pets.
Accurate listing, booking was easy and the property is exactly as described. Easy location for being close to downtown and getting around the city.
Great location. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
The apartment was clean and inviting and very comfortably furnished. Easy to get to and centrally located. After a day of hiking or whitewater rafting it was a great place to come back to and unwind.
Bedrooms were good; bathroom outdated; family room furniture needs replAcing; kitchen good - overall acceptable but not great. Great location near downtown. Lots to do in Asheville - hope to return soon!
I loved my stay over 4th of July weekend! Super cute apartment - loved how the place was decorated! Super close to downtown & with a Starbucks across the street!
