A sweet home

  • 5 of 5

We had family stay here for the week of our wedding. It is such a sweet and comfortable house. It felt really good to be there. There was so much that was unique and artistic about the house. Our family loved it and so did we. Both Rod and Kathy were great. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our group of friends stayed at the Red Barn over MLK weekend, and had an absolutely wonderful time. All of us enjoyed it immensely and left with fond memories. We would definitely recommend this house to friends and family.

Some things we particularly enjoyed: the hot tub, how well maintained it is, the sleds, the views upon exiting the house, the wood stove and twisty fireplace, Vermont themed paintings on the walls, the welcoming bear, and the easy-to-use kitchen.

Rod (the owner) and Kathy (the property manager) were both very responsive and provided for a warm wintry hospitality.

Overall, it was a lovely trip for us all.

Owner's Response: I am so glad that The Red Barn made your expectations, we believe it is a very special place, its a unique property in a special location. We do hope to see you again, in fact this year we saw for the first time the same same clients returning to the Red Barn for the third time! This is extremely pleasing and a measure of our success. So please come back there is always a surprise gift for the returners! Dr Roderick Thomas, Owner, The Red Barn, Lake Elmore, VERMONT.
