Quinta Alfaval is located in the beautiful region of the Alentejo between Évora and Vila Viçosa. The Quinta contains six well appointed apartments and a fresh swimming pool. The gently sloping Alentejo features large wine yards, marble quarry's, oak- and corktrees.

Our Quinta consists of a renovated farmhouse and two detached houses with apartments varying in size and possibilities. All apartments have their own private bathrooms and terraces. In the varied garden you can enjoy our swimming pool (710 ft2), and our meadow with plenty of shades from the oak- or palm trees.

The atmosphere of our Quinta is tranquility and pure nature. On request we bring you fresh baked bread to your accommodation so you can have breakfast on your own terrace enjoying the morning sun. The way the Quinta is set up is that you can choose your privacy whenever you like. You visit us for the beauty of the region, the apartments in typical Alentejo style, hospitality and personal service.

Quinta Alfaval is located adjacent to Serra D’Ossa, a large nature park where you can hike, bike or explore and smell the Eucalyptus. You can rent a mountain bike at our Quinta. Several world heritage cities are nearby (Évora, Estremoz, Monsaraz), but you can also visit one of the many local markets with products like leather, cork, special pork meat and of course wine.

For tranquility, to unwind and yet the enjoyment of good food, Quinta Alfaval is the place to be. Hope to see you soon!

Sossego alentejano com um sorriso holandês

PT Alfaval é uma pequena quinta com um charme rústico. Os proprietários, Claudia e Pascal, receberam-nos e aos nossos dois filhos com muita simpatia e atenção, sempre prontos a ajudar. É um ambiente familiar, bom para relaxar e onde as crianças podem brincar livremente.

Gostámos muito e planeamos voltar :)

EN Alfaval is a small farm with a rustic charm. The owners, Claudia and Pascal, welcomed us and our two children in a very friendly and caring way and were always ready to help. It’s a family environment, good for relaxing and where children can play freely.

We thoroughly enjoyed it and plan on coming back :)

What a lovely place and kind hospitality

A nice combination of real authentic houses on the quinta with thick walls and small windows combined with perfect comfortable beds with clean and fresh white sheets and towels. Very friendly atmosphere. Every detail breathes hospitality, flowers everywhere and fresh fruit in the trees.

The Quinta Alfaval estate is located on a gently sloping area of a little more than 8 ac. including a olive grove, palm and fruit trees and swimming pool, in the proximity of Villa Viçosa/Bencatel. The Alentejo region is characterized by large vine yards, cork oaks and marble. Europe’s biggest dam, famous UNESCO cities as Évora, Monsaraz and Estremoz as the beautiful city of Badajoz (Spain) are well within driving distance. Lisboa airport is within a 2 hour drive.
