Behind a perfect white gate is a garden path teeming with flora and fauna leading to the front door of this bright and spacious loft. With an entire open-plan lower floor, there is plenty of space for everyone in your group. Equally suited to a family, friends, business travelers or a romantic getaway,

The home has fantastic transport links: 20-30 min tube/bus travel from major attractions: Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament, Museum Mile (Science, Victoria and Albert Museums), Westminster Abby, Big Ben, British Museum, Kensington Palace, National Gallery/Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park.

This airy, modern loft is packs it all in with a 45- foot room spanning 2 large and spacious reception areas with 2 custom sofas: one so oversized that you can lounge four people comfortably (it’s 13' x 4' ft to be exact).

The well dressed open- plan living space glows with a pale freshness created by a carefully chosen colour palette, lots of ground floor space for roaming around in and custom furnishings everywhere you glance. The overall result is delightful English sensibility meets American wide open spaces.

You won’t be caught short of neighbourhood action in Notting Hill. The whole area is buzzing with great shops, cafés, bars, and family-friendly restaurants. Having had your fill of this fashionable neighbourhood, you can jump on the bus at the stop right outside the house, to take you and your brood to the further sightseeing delights of the capital - all within easy transport of 1/2 hour.

The galley style featureless kitchen has everything you need to produce a family meal to be enjoyed at the large modern, gleaming table with swivel chair seating for up to 8. After which time you can settle down in front of the 46” flat screen to catch some great British television or a DVD.

Privacy and quiet are further key benefits of this home which is set off the street down a leafy fern strewn landscaped path. It's so private no one can see the house from the street.

WIFI is free, there is a Sonos powered speaker to plug your tunes into, while you enjoy great views of park life via windows flanked on either side of the living room that is set off by a massive burnished Victorian mirror.

Sleeping arrangements are spread across two lovely bedrooms. The master has a queen bed and a luxurious marble clad en- suite with roomy shower, the 2nd bedroom is a cosy space with a double bed and a single bed that can sleep 3 in comfort: all with wall mounted swivel reading lamps and custom headboards and valances in neutral linen stripes. Both bedrooms have large pivoting Velux windows with black -out blinds when complete darkness is desired.

The 2nd bathroom has a large tub and hand shower and gleams all white marble throughout.

Finally, a custom pull out double sofa bed in one of the reception areas can sleep your rangy teenager wanting his own space or another couple as the case may be, making this home's flexible sleeping configuration a bonus.

The house backs onto Kensington Memorial Park so trees, green lawn and blue sky are your view from all the six downstairs windows as well as out of all three bedroom velux windows upstairs. There is a fantastic, newly refurbished playground, including a state of the art water feature playground for children. The new tennis courts can be reserved through the Royal Parks All this is only about 50 yards from the house. The flat is beautiful. Impeccably cared for. Every detail guiding use of the well equipped place.

In a magical garden enclave, a retreat from the bustling city, an easy walk to the tube stop. From the living room windows is a large expanse of a quiet park, as if it were a private lawn. Wake up to the birds singing and sun shining. See the stars and moon at night. Have the space to enjoy and relax even in a busy London visit. The host is helpful in every way. London guides provided and we arranged an itinerary as we stayed. We had many meals at home, shopping for fresh produce in the portabello market nearby. I couldn’t ask for more. The wi fi and television and movies available made for good fun and a quiet evening at home. This place is a treasure. Clean and luxurious and every detail thought of. It is an original architecturally designed renovation of a classic London free standing building. One of a kind. We are lucky and happy with our stay and will return again.

Stunning property in slightly out-of-the-way location

This property is exactly as beautiful as pictured - furnishings are pleasing and comfortable and the layout worked perfectly for my husband and I and our three children. I highly recommend this apartment for a traveler for whom aesthetics are particularly important because it's a delightful space in which to relax, share meals, etc.. The location is in a quiet neighborhood away from the restaurants and shopping that we enjoy, so we spent quite a bit of time on the bus and Tube. If it's important to walk out the door to restaurants, shops, and sights, this might not be your best choice.

A fantastic home from home ! highly recommended!!

There is always a certain amount of trepidation when you rent someone's home for the weekend especially when you are travelling with smaller children ( 5 years and 5 months old )!

Well fear no longer- Marina is the host from heaven - welcoming , quick replies , a helpful answer for every query and thinks outside the box of the things that you haven't though of yourself. Oh such a joy !!

We needn't have worried about anything , from cots to highchairs, from flexible timing to arrive and leave , and the secure knowledge that someone that caring was nearby and willing to lend a hand or step in wherever needed !

An amazing experience , to be repeated , and a huge thank you to our host Marina that was outstanding !

PS The house is a dream and has everything you need - you would be hard pushed to find anything that is missing - if anything ! 5 STARS !!!!

Very comfortable, spacious and beautiful

This was a lovely apartment to stay in. It is extremely spacious, and our family of 5 felt quite comfortable! The kitchen although looks minimal, has all the standard appliances, including a very nice combi washer/dryer, high end dishwasher, and nice stove. Upstairs ceilings were heavily vaulted and if you are tall you might bump your head on the ceiling while using the master bathroom. I am 5'3" and barely cleared the space. Beds were super comfortable, oversized sofa downstairs was able to hold our entire family at once! Bus stop in front of the house, made it convenient to use public transportation. The neighborhood is quiet, and the park with playground and splash pad was used almost everyday after a long day of sightseeing. Marina was a wonderful host, extremely responsive, and even paid us a visit to help us with minor details of the home.

Beautiful Property in Quiet Residential Area

We booked the home for four nights in May and found it excellent. Marina was very quick to respond to all our requests and extremely pleasant to deal with. It's a little bit of a walk from the tube station (about 7 to 10 minutes) but nothing that would dissuade us from going back to the property. Everything we needed was there and the home itself was beautiful. There were four of us so we found the two bedrooms and two bathrooms extremely convenient. The only thing (and it's very small) was that the hedges leading up to the door could do with a trim. When it rained we got a little damp running the gauntlet through the foliage. Other than that the place was first class. Thanks very much!

This apartment is awesome! Just what you dream of while in London.

Forget about the distance to major attractions, the ride is always a pleasure.

Its like being a local during your stay and that is priceless.

Marina is the best. She is always there ready to help you, whatever it is she has an answer.

The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated.

Just notice that the 2 bedrooms are quite small, but comfortable.

Kitchen, Living room and dining, for you to enjoy.

We loved it. Thank you Marina! As I said, we will be back !
