About the property

Spacious 3 bedroom apartment with large balcony overlooking the valley

The accommodation comprises the first floor of a free standing alpine house with plenty of outdoor space around. Access to the first floor is via a spectacular glass encased staircase.

In summer, enjoy nature at its best! Hike amongst flower filled meadows, streams and waterfalls surrounded by the highest peaks in the Alps.

The rental price is an inclusive price in Euros; no extra charges for cleaning, towels or linen.

Our two favourite holiday activities are skiing and walking. We bought No 7 Noussan in the Aosta Valley because this area is the most unspoilt part of the Alps and offers superb skiing and walking. We also like Italian food and wine and enjoy eating genuine Italian food in beautiful locations.

When you drive up to Noussan from Antey-Saint-Andre, you will get the most wonderful view of the Matterhorn, or Cervino, as the mountain is known in Italian. If you love mountains, you will fall in love with this view.

Why Christa Jostock chose Antey-Saint-André

We chose this property because it is surrounded by open views. You can enjoy the sun all day. We have a favourite sunny spot for breakfast and we soak up the evening sun on the opposite side of the house. Being on the slope of the valley rather than at the base, mean you have sunshine right until the last moment. As one of our Italian neighbours put it: 'This is a place for the heart'. You will not find better mountain views!

What makes this apartment unique

This is a property in a small mountain village. You are surrounded by cows and flower meadows. We did not want to be in the artificial environment of a ski resort because the resorts look deserted in summer. The location gives us the opportunity to access a whole range of ski resorts. You can do an Aosta valley mountain week and ski in a different resort every day. You can check out the resort websites in the morning and choose the resort with the best conditions for the day. You also have the opportunity to book onto epic ski tours like the Valle Blanche on the Mont Blanc massif. If you like off-piste skiing, Alagna connected to the Monterosa ski area has some of the best off-piste skiing in the world. And best of all, there are no lift queues!

Beautiful apartment and location

Large, clean, well equipped apartment.

If you like staying far from crowded areas and to be close to the nature, with amazing mountains view, this is the place to stay. You will have to drive your car from the valley to the small village, about 10 minutes, but it worth.

Great find

What a great time we had in this modern, spacious and very bright apartment, located on the top floor of a very beautiful Alpine chalet. The key element of it is the views! These are absolutely fantastic, one could just spend days on the balcony absorbing them in! And it is also so very quiet but not isolated. The apartment is nicely maintained and has all necessary appliances. It is very clean and homey. Location-wise, the chalet is equidistant between Chatillon with nice supermarkets and Valtournenche where we skied (there is also a ski school in Valtournenche which was ideal for our girls). Two more things to mention: the chalet has an outside space where our two very lively little girls run around and perfectly working wi-fi, which is a bit of rarity in this area! Great stay, great place, top mark experience!

Great apartmet with amazing views

We had a wonderful winter holiday in the in this well presented apartment with 3 spacious bedrooms. Quiet location with absolutely amazing views! Helpful and forthcoming owner.

All essential applienaces in working order are provided, making stay comfortable and easy.

Car is a must (with snow tyres during winter). Easy ride to Valtournenche for skiing.

Clean and comfortable appartment at 1500 m alt.

Very nice appartement with helpful owners. Well furnished with good beds and duvets in 3 spacious bedrooms. Nice kitchen, completely stocked and nice for home cooking. The living room and balcony are a bit cramped if you are with a six person's company. View is great and plenty nice hikes in the vincinity. Must have a car for shopping.

Aosta Valley at its best

Nicely renovated house in a rustic environment with a spectacular view of the Aosta Valley.

Ideal for skiing trips, it's only a short ride to Valtournenche and from there you have ski lifts all the way to Cervinia/Zermatt. Slopes are at their best on weekdays when less populated.

If it is a really snowy winter, you might need snowtyres/chains for the last couple of hundred meters to get there. But it must be beautiful in the summer time as well.

Owners are very friendly and helpful and everything worked perfectly, which is not always the case when you rent a place abroad.

I would strongly recommend this and might also come back to experience this part of Italy again.

Traumhaus hoch oben, mit tollem Blick

Das Haus ist wunderschön, großzügig geschnitten, hat einen fantastischen Blick, liegt in einem wundervollen Weiler weit oben in den Bergen mit super sympathischen Bewohnern.

Wir haben unsere Zeit in vollen Zügen genossen. Urlaub kann nicht erholsamer und netter sein. Auch unsere Kinder (16, 14 und 8 Jahre) waren voll des Glücks über Lage und Bauweise des Hauses.

Einzige Schwächen: keine Kaffeemaschine, langsames Internet.

Refundable damage deposit $234.44

A security deposit of £150 or 200 Euro is payable to secure the booking, fully refundable after your stay, if everything is in order.
The rental charge is due 4 weeks before the commencement of the rental period.
In winter, a notional amount of 200 Euros for gas and electricity is included in the rent; adequate for responsible use. A deduction will be made from the deposit in case of high use.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
