A perfect holiday location, set amongst lavender fields in beautiful French Provençal countryside, this a spectacular authentic 18th century stone farmhouse.

This beautiful house is an ideal location for family holidays - child safe the swimming pool is fenced off and accessed through a child safe gate.

The house has been fully renovated throughout, respecting the original style and using only artisans, means the house combines traditional stone farmhouse living with all the modern amenities required (satellite TV, WiFi, aircon etc).

The house has 5 large bedrooms all with air-conditioning that comfortably sleeps 12 people.

Spacious inside and outside entertainment areas, including 2 lounges, bar, interior dining room and exterior dining area and a summer lounge by the swimming pool. The house also has a walled inner courtyard.

The large garden, fenced off is over 6000 m2 and the property is surrounded by farm-land located a few kilometres outside a picturesque village in the heart of Drome Provençal area.

Amazing experience

My family and I absolutely loved this beautiful house!

I must say the property description and photos were accurate and I was very impressed when I arrived. The house appears to be well-maintained and was very clean including the pool and patio areas. The kitchen was spotless and furnished with every dish and utensils that we needed. Both kids and adults loved our stay in this beautiful surrounding. The owners are very nice and helpful.

I would 100% choose this house as my vacation rental again and I would certainly recommend this house to anyone.

Wonderful family holiday!

Wonderful house with plenty of space for our three families. The kids loved the pool and gardens and the adults enjoyed the covered poolside room to relax in. The lounge area is very spacious and has comfy sofas. Ample eating areas both inside and outside and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Fantastic holiday!

Superbe maison, soigneusement décorée ; un patio particulièrement agréable pour prendre les repas (trés bien abrité du vent au cas oú). Cuisine immense. Tennis x3 en parfait état au village à 5mn. Grand jardin trés agréable également.

June family break

We were warmly welcomed to this lovely house by Henri and Eliane, the owner's parents in law. It is a lovely house with plenty of space. We were a party of four adults and two young children (3 years and 10 months respectively) and were pleased to have spare space to be able to spread ourselves. We might have felt a little constricted if we had been 6 adults and 2 children as it was nice for them to be able to sleep in separate rooms.

The house is set in beautiful countryside surrounded by fields of lavender which was in full flower during our stay. It is set in a spacious garden with a fenced off pool area and we were totally relaxed about safety for the young. There are plenty of quiet roads locally for those who like cycling and similar activities. It is easy to reach several lovely villages in the area as well as Montelimar.

The pool was quite chilly on first arrival, but warmed up as the weather warmed up and was quite pleasant by the end of our stay.

The property is nicely laid out and is well furnished, clean and tidy. There are three showers and one bath and also freezers, dishwasher and washing machine etc.

There is a lovely courtyard immediately outside the front door with barbecues, tables and chairs and sunshades. This is a lovely sun trap, but can get quite warm so sunshades become essential.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this property, partly on account of its location but also the property itself. We found the listing description was accurate.

Luxury farmhouse living.

This is a beautiful house in idyllic surroundings where we have enjoyed the most fantastic family holidays. The house is huge and very comfortably and stylishly refurbished, It does not feel like a rental - more like your own personal retreat in the South of France! The interior has been fully refurbished with natural stone everywhere and top-notch bedrooms and bathrooms. .

There is plenty of room for 2 or 3 families and we found it heaven for kids. A huge garden with a magical wood and stream to explore; stunning pool and poolhouse (but securely fenced so we could relax with our 2-year old); classic courtyard for sunny breakfasts and endless dinners and barbecues in the evening.

In the summer the sun is always shining, but we have also stayed here for big family gatherings in the winter months when the huge sitting rooms, bar and vaulted dining room come into their own.

This year we really enjoyed exploring the local area a bit more - the local markets and shops amid the lavender fields offer up plenty of delicious local food. There is so much to do with the kids, from canoeing in the Ardeche to tree-swinging and bike rides just down the road.

We will definitely be coming back and cannot recommend a stay here highly enough!

Magnifique!

Nous avons séjourné à 11personnes ( adultes, ados, enfants et chien!) dans cette magnifique propriété, que nous avons très rapidement adoptée. Il faut préciser que l'accueil chaleureux d'Eliane et Henri, et l'aide ponctuelle et efficace de Danielle, la fée du logis, y sont pour beaucoup.

La demeure est telle que décrite dans l'annonce, voire encore plus spacieuse. Le village est idéalement situé pour des excursions en tous genres, que ce soit la "ferme aux crocodiles" de Pierrelatte, le Karting, l'accro-branche ou autres visites des caves ou villages pittoresques environnants. Il y en a pour tous les gouts. Et ceux que cela n'interesse pas, peuvent savourer le farniente au bord de la piscine ou ailleurs.

Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location ainsi que ses très sympathiques propriétaires.
