One of a group of 3 exclusive detached villas in a peaceful location easily reached from the main Rhodes-Lindos road. The villa sits on a hillside with spectacular panoramic views including the famous Tsambika beach and monastery and a broad expanse of blue Aegean Sea.
It is a newly built, well appointed and impressive property, tastefully furnished and styled in modern design and with a heated swimming pool. The ground floor comprises a spacious open plan living and dining area and a double bedroom with bathroom. The spiral marble staircase leads to the second floor where there is the large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two twin bedrooms served by a family bathroom. All rooms open onto balconies, decking or patios with sea views. (Note - the villa is designed to sleep 8 but has a maximum occupancy of 9 - with an additional fold out bed. Please enquire if you wish to accommodate 9 adults for details). The villa is fully air conditioned. The kitchen is equipped with a full range of modern appliances. There is large screen satellite TV system with hundreds of channels including all major UK channels and movies on demand, Bluray/DVD, AppleTV and games console. A mobile phone and unlimited wireless internet are available for guest use.
The villa is set on a three quarter acre plot with spacious private gardens featuring olive, citrus fruit and conifer trees and a variety of shrubs and a small established pine wood. There is a large, private heated infinity swimming pool (heated pools are rare on the island of Rhodes) with spacious tiled sun decks equipped with plenty of sunbeds, chairs and sun umbrellas. There is a BBQ and pagoda. Two large granite tables provide the option of fine dining either in the shade of the pagoda or the decking. There is parking space for up to 3 cars.
The location of the villa, midway along the popular east coast, could not be better to fully enjoy the island. The famous Tsambika beach is a short drive down the hill (or walk for the more adventurous); this is widely regarded as the best on the island with a kilometre of golden sand fully equipped with beach facilities and water sports. This is overlooked by the spectacular and historic hilltop Tsambika monastery. There are numerous local tavernas. The Panorama Restaurant, with its spectacular views of Tsambika beach and monastery, is only 10 minutes walk away. Rhodes Town is 25 minutes drive with its famous medieval walled old town and picturesque harbour. The beautiful village of Lindos is 20 minutes drive in the opposite direction. The local town of Archangelos is 5 minutes drive and offers a full range of shops and facilities. The airport is 30 minutes drive. Other picturesque beach resorts within easy reach include Haraki, Stegna and Kolymbia. There is easy access to the beautiful central mountain region with its tiny villages clinging to the hillsides. An 18 hole golf course is 10 minutes away.
A car is considered essential to fully enjoy a holiday at the villa.
Recently completed, we are now proud to offer the villa on a self catering basis for others to enjoy for parts of the year when we are not enjoying it ourselves.. It is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends.

What makes this Villa unique
The heated infinity pool is 9m x 5m (much bigger than most private villa pools) and plenty large enough to swim properly in. The villa is set in genuinely expansive gardens. There are fabulous views of Tsampika beach and monastery. The location is, in our opinion, the best in the island, within easy reach of both Rhodes Town and Lindos. The villa overlooks the fabulous Tsampika beach (a kilometre of golden sand) and is in the immediate vicinity of the lovely coastal villages of Archangelos-Stegna and Haraki. There is an excellent taverna within comfortable walking distance and many others close by. The villa is superbly well furnished and unusually well equipped throughout. The entertainment system (40 inch flat screen, Internet, BluRay and X-Box360) has recently been upgraded with a TV package that features all major UK and European TV channels (including Sky Sports and Sky Movies). The owners go to huge trouble, helped by our friends on the island, who look after the villa on a week by week basis, to look after all our guests. Every person who has visited the villa has come back genuinely delighted by their stay. A very high proportion of our guests make return visits (in fact half of our guests in the 2017 season).

Such a Beautiful Villa
Firstly I would like to stress how helpful and friendly Patricia was with giving details about the villa or nearby places to go/see. She was a massive help and always kept check of her emails as she would always reply back very quick. The description and details of the villa were very accurate regarding the layout, location and facilities. Upon our arrival the villa was in an immaculate condition, lovely and clean and well presented. I would 100% recommend this villa to family or friends, its very spacious and the views are absolutely amazing! We have wrote a review in the book at the villa stating places we enjoyed, these are a must:
Rhodes Old Town - we wish we went here more than once!
Tsambika Beach - beautiful beach, we did watersports and enjoyed a gyros in one of the food places there.
Lindos - lovely market and we enjoyed a meal on one of the many rooftop terraces.
St Pauls Bay - My brother got married here and it is such a beautiful spot.
We did hire a car which is needed but I thoroughly enjoyed driving and exploring the island, there are supermarkets not far from the villa, which came in handy as there were 8 of us so we just filled the fridge/freezer. Overall, there is nothing negative to say, we enjoyed our holiday and the villa, I have never had holiday blues so bad! Would highly recommend it, Patricia and her family were always so helpful :-) Thank you!
We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday. Lovely to see the beautiful wedding photographs.
Magical holiday - one we will always remember
We stayed at Tsambika villa for two weeks from 30th August 2017. Patricia's instructions on how to get to the villa were very good and it was an easy drive from the airport. We chose this villa to celebrate our daughter's wedding - she got married at St Paul's Bay on 4th Sept and we had the reception on the beach as Tambakio. At the reception a full moon looked down upon us - so too did the lit up Acropolis. It was magical!
We arrived at the villa in the dark and I couldn't wait until morning to see the view - it did not disappoint! There was a welcome pack on arrival and this was appreciated as the shops were closed by the time we'd departed the airport. The outside area of the villa is gorgeous and this is the reason why we chose it. The garden is spacious and I loved having breakfast sitting under the pagoda looking down at Tsambika beach.
We had a pre-wedding pool party/BBQ which was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed the heated swimming pool. We had a house full of guests during our first week, but there was always somewhere lovely to sit outside where you could get some peace and quiet.
The staff at the Panorama taverna which is very close to the villa were lovely. We will miss them all, especially Sam and Manos. The food was good and so were the homemade cakes! We plan to return to Rhodes out of season and will definitely be visiting this lovely family run taverna again.
We hired a car for our full stay and this is necessary. We really enjoyed Haraki beach and Stegna which are within a 10 minute drive from the house. We preferred these small pretty bays than visiting the larger Tsambika beach. I did some wonderful runs at 6.30am just as it was getting light. It's extremely hilly so not for the faint-hearted but the sunrises were spectacular; I will miss these very much.
Our holiday was wonderful from start to finish and I would definitely recommend staying at this villa. Thanks to Patricia for her kindness.
Very nice Villa with scenic view
We had a great time in the Villa.
The landlords are very well organized and gave us a warm welcome.
The house is located very nice on the hills giving view over tsampika beach, which is quite enjoyable.
The condition of the property is very good and the house is very well equipped, even with an entertainment system we did not need during our hot summer stay.
The whole property is very clean, all is in very good condition, the pool is checked several times a week and cleaned by an external service.
The landlords prepared personal recommendations and have a folder in the house giving details about excursions, hiking trails, tavernas, beaches and places to visit. Very valuable!
We stayed there there with two families and several Kids in the range of 2 to 13 and had a very good time.
Immaculate private pool and stunning sea views
Lovely villa and immaculate pool. We chose this villa because of the pool and we weren't disappointed - it was the most immaculate pool we've ever had. The only thing that could have improved it would have been if the pool had been heated, as believe it or not, it's a bit chilly in September! But, it was perfect for cooling off in during the heat of the day. The privacy afforded by the mature gardens and spectacular views of the sea were also perfect for us. David and Elaine who look after the property for the owners were lovely and couldn't be more responsive or helpful. It was also nice to speak to the owners before we went and the information they provided about local amenities was really useful.
My brother joined us for a few days and was really impressed at how easy it would be to bring his children out here for a holiday - he thought that it would be much easier to keep an eye on them whilst they played in the pool here, rather than at a resort, and they could use the villa as a safe base from which to enjoy the many activities available for days out. He's already planning to bring his family out here together with friends next year!
Overall, it was a lovely place to relax in and is in the best area in Rhodes in our opinion (not too far from the airport, on the Mediterranean side of the island, near great beaches and really good tavernas). The other thing that could have improved our experience would have been a welcome pack, such as bottled water, tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, cheese, like you get at other villas of similar quality, especially after travelling for twelve hours to get there only to find out we've got to get back in the car and drive ten minutes to the nearest supermarket to get refreshments. So, our advice is to call at a supermarket on your way to the villa - that's what we'll be doing next time!
Many thanks to our guests for their positive review. We are pleased that they enjoyed their stay and are keen to come again.
From May 2017 we will have a pool heater installed which should make the pool somewhat warmer! The specification suggests a temperature of 27 degrees.
When guests arrive late in the day we offer to buy groceries on their behalf. For guests arriving during shopping hours (this guest had an agreed early arrival at midday) we recommend a particularly good supermarket on the way from the airport. However we will be providing welcome packs for next season.
We were a little disappointed to receive a first review that has not been five star, although are pleased that this did not seem to overall reflect the holidaymakers experience.
We had a lovely stay in late August to September 2016. The villa is located on a hill and has beautiful views of the surrounding hills, the beach and sea. The journey up the twisting private road up to the villa was an experience especially on the first night, in the dark with a fully loaded 9 seater mini-van! The villa is in a good location and within easy driving distance to Rhodes Town, Lindos and the airport. We made trips to Haraki and Maria's taverna for dinner and Tsampika and Agathi beaches, both beautiful.
Thank you to the owner Patricia who very kindly arranged a very late dinner on our arrival night at the local Panorama restaurant.
The villa's outdoor space is lovely, although some bushes could do with a trim to enable you to enjoy the landscape more. The living space and kitchen could be slightly larger given that we were 7 adults and 3 kids, but it was sufficient. Patricia's red folder - 'The Bible' was very helpful, providing directions and suggestions. I would say its worth driving to Lidl, which is about 25-30 mins drive towards Rhodes town, as this is far cheaper than other supermarkets. The other supermarket near Afandou is also well stocked.
Lovely weather and lovely private villa with breathtaking views. I would definately recommend.
Really lovely villa with fabulous views
This villa is perfect for a peaceful holiday in a stunning location with plenty to see and do within reach by car. It is really well equipped and the owner extremely helpful. I would recommend this villa to anyone and everyone.
