Thank you for an amazing holiday, Raffaele was great in giving us information about the area. This is a beautiful property in a wonderful location. Our experience of Weekey Rentals was excellent, and I will certainly recommend you to others and hope to return!
We stayed here on our very first visit to Rome with three teenage boys. On the plus side, The layout of the apartment and location was really good, across the street from the grocery store and a taxi stand, on a quiet street. The check in process and return of deposit was smooth. We had several issues with the apartment but the manager was very responsive. First, the air conditioning didn't function too well while we were there. Second the wifi doesn't reach the back bedroom which was labeled the master and third, a breaker went out out making the dishwasher and refrigerator unusable for about a day. The good news was They quickly dispatched an air conditioning repair person (twice) and the person to repair the electric, but the bad news was each of those three times of our three day visit the repair arrived with only email notice. One day we were all napping and the AC tech left himself in, the next day we got home to find an apartment full of people (5). I applaud the responsiveness of the repairs but I am not okay with having outside people crawling around the apartment while our stuff was all out. Nothing was amiss, but I wouldn't do it in my own apartment and so it was unsettling. Having someone let themselves in was also unsettling. Probably the manager would say they let me know via email but since one day I was sleeping and the other I was out touring (no email access) I didn't know they were coming. The apartment is charming and the old charm of it has shortcomings like the aforementioned and the weak shower in the back bedroom. I think there are definitely investments they could make to stabilize the place in spite of its age. I would not stay here again, but if I did I would use the front bedroom as the master (it's much nicer) but then you would lose a bed. I appreciate the attentiveness of the rental company. I think they did the best they could..
This was a spacious, relaxed, quiet, and comfortable apartment for our party of two couples. It's got an old city feel but the amenities you need, including great air conditioning for a reprieve from hot summer days. Rafaelle is gracious and thorough. It was all very easy.
Apartment was very clean, we were happy that the manager was accommodating and assisted us with much advice.
location was excellent, very handy to Piazza Navona!
Would definitely recommend!
Bernardo was great. Only positive of apartment was location and size. Website photos were obviously enhanced to make the apartment look better than reality. Received two sets of keys as we were two couples. Furniture covers stained. No hot water on 1st day (problem resolved by communicating with Bernardo), shower drain clogged (not resolved after mentioning it on first day). Shower curtain filthy (moldy), could have been replaced. As you enter the building, 4 trash/recycling/compost containers). Felt uncomfortable when supplying over 500 euros and no receipt provided. Walking distance to piazza Navona, Trastevere area, Pantheon, Campo de Fiori, longer walk to Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain but still doable.
You are in the heart of Baroque Rome, but not only. On every corner you will find many traces of ancient Rome. Campo de Fiori, where every morning since 1869 there is a market of flowers and fruit, is just around the corner. You can walk along streets steeped in history and arrive in a few minutes to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon.
From this strategic location, you can easily walk to other places extraordinary as Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, St. Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum or cross Ponte Sisto to explore the secrets of Trastevere and get a taste of real Roman life.
The whole area is safe and wonderful for walking, full of food, shops, restaurants, wine bars and taverns beautiful.
