There is plenty of space for privacy as well as ten acres of woodland and pasture for exploration. The woods, meadow, and hills also include a small pond. Over the years, the warmth and character of the home have welcomed many a visitor. The 1828 Reunion House is situated in a great area. Beautiful nature and wonderful smaller and bigger towns within 10 - 20 minutes of driving. Next to the house runs a small river through a wooded area. A very nice stroll for early in the morning or after dinner. Nice living rooms, a great great dining room! The kitchens have everything a person needs,
The 1828 house was very clean and well taken care of. My stay could not have gone any better. This place is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the nature of Vermont in a beautiful piece of architecture.
The 1828 House was the perfect house for our getaway/reunion! The fireplace was awesome- we spent most of our time there. The creek behind the house was great for nature walks and the ski resort was only a 5 minute drive away. The house was really cozy yet big enough that I never felt crowded. Hope to go back.
This house is so charming! It has a lot of space, but still allows for everyone to gather in a quaint setting. Perfect for families and friends! Beautiful surroundings perfect for a weekend get away or to spend some time on the local family friendly mountain - Okemo!!
Gorgeous property and getaway with family. You must experience the slow paced and peaceful Vermont vacation. Our family treasures each and every moment at this house!
Great place so close to Okemo! We had 23 in our group and it never seemed we were on top of each other. They had everything we needed to live comfortably. Thank you!

Nice livingrooms, a great great diningroom! The kitchens have everything a person needs, the only problem is that both dishwashers leak and don't quite clean if they are more than half full.
We were with 12 adults and a child, fitting reasonably in the 8 bedrooms. I would say that this is the maximum amount of adults. More young children would not be a problem, but it would've been even more comfortable with less adults. Only 3 of the 8 bedrooms are well suited for adults.
All in all, I would recommend this house to other people!
