The arched ceilings on the ground floor and the amazing stonework and floor tiling throughout the house are all original features that will immediately embrace the visitors on entering the property.

The sizable traditional inner courtyard at the entrance has been converted into a private pool and deck area through which one enters into a combined living and dining/kitchen space, quaintly separated by arches.

A twin bed room and a separate family bathroom complete the ground floor.An original stone staircase leads to an arched landing area and two other double bedrooms on the first floor, both with ensuite facilities.The house is well equipped and furnished and is situated close to the village square with its restaurants and bars, the hub and life of the local community.

Air-Conditioning in the bedrooms will be available from 2017 onwards at a pay as you go coin electronic system, using €1 and €2 coins.

Xaghra also boasts of unique prehistoric temples, which are the oldest standing structures in the world, and together with the burial grounds found close by, are a magnet for historians and archaeologists from all over the world.

The main village square is surrounded with mouth-watering restaurants. The square is 500 metres away from property. *Nearest beach Ramla Bay is 3.3km away from property*Nearest bus stop is 600metres away from property. Bus No. 307 for Victoria and Bus No. 322 for Marsalforn or Ramla Bay"

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Gawhra and to thank you and your team for all the care and courtesy we were shown during the week and before, whilst we were planning.

We loved the farmhouse and are keen to book again for next year, hopefully in June. I would be grateful if you could let me know about the availability of Gawhra for June 2017 and also if you ever take bookings for 9 or 10 days.

A quirky old style large farmhouse with pool

This was just a Fantastic old Farmhouse with stairways and balcony's archways and skylights . swimming pool just the right size even if it was a bit fresh getting in, but once in it was fresh, the main square only 5mins away was always busy and there were many local shops with all you needed , the local people were friendly and helpful , Taxies are cheap only 10euros to the main city Victoria or go by bus even cheaper, manager was very helpful he met us at the local big mac in Victoria and then waited whilst the kids wet inside he then lead the way to the farmhouse (we had a car, which you can park outside). The ferry was easy only 20mins , the house keeper lived next door she was freindly, Gozo was much calmer than Malta, Cant wait to come back again , would recommend to all.

Wonderful renovated townhouse

This old townhouse is renovated with taste and style and a lot of wonderful details.

The three bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the sunlight coming through the roof windows makes the living area bright and sunny.

Only criticism: The courtyard is a little bit too small for six sun beds, table, chairs

and the pool, if the house is fully booked with six people.

The property was spotless clean, Grace gave me a warm welcome and Donald was very helpful from the first contact on, he arranged the car rental and was flexible when I changed the booking dates. All in all: I would recommend the house.

The farmhouse was stunning

The farmhouse was better than described,The 3 of us had a totally relaxed holiday. Donald was exceptional ,finding us the perfect property.Xaghra is a lovely place to stay all the restruants offer good food at reasonable prices. We would definately recommend this property to anyone.

Xaghra a historical village rises on a hill in the North-East of the island. Ramla Bay is located at the bottom of the village just 2 km away from Xaghra centre. One can enjoy a walk through the streets of Xaghra to the main square which is situated just less than 500 metres away, where one can buy fresh vegetables from local farmers. At any time of the day whether for lunch or for dinner restaurants in the main square welcome you with its exquisite traditional local menus.
