Nice home with attentive host.
Beautiful home with wonderful location. Good central location between Austin and San Antonio. Spent time visiting the neighboring towns and also took advantage of the perks of the home. Enjoyable stay for our party of nine.

Our 2nd time staying
This was our 2nd time to stay at this house. Both trips my kids left items at the house, and both times the host was quick to return them to us. The hosts are super friendly and take great care of you. The house is huge and well maintained. Nicely furnished and very well stocked. My kids love the loft bedroom. I love the privacy of the master which has a massive bathroom and huge soaker tub. Very close to Seguin grocery and restaurants, though my daughter and her friends love to cook and enjoyed the kitchen. Best of all - dog friendly : ) and my goldendoodle would like you to know it's great for bird watching.

Honest review
The house is huge and beautiful. Plenty room to sleep multiple family members and alot of toys and games for kids. Wasnt as clean as it should be. Had cobwebs and spiders throughout the house. My card was charged an additional cleaning fee after we left but we cleaned up. The rules are you have to clean some things before you leave. That was fine until i got hit with an extra cleaning fee for towels being left hanging on a deck and a cigarette butt on the ground. The cleaning fee is already high. Then my son hot ecoli in his ear from the pool. The specialist said that its usually a stomach thing but it got in his ear from the dirty pool water. He had to get a fungus pulled from his ear.

My husband and I have lived in the San Antonio area for over 30 years and wouldn't choose to live anywhere else!

Why they chose this property

We bought this property for our family and friends to enjoy getting together, as well as for the incredible view and unique home that was there. We have spent the first 2 years of ownership in the "fix it" stage, as it was quite run down and needed extensive repairs. It still needs some tender love on the exterior, and we will tackle that, but for now are ready to enjoy it, and hope you will too!

What makes this property unique

Location. Check this out - you are already on the route! https://tpwd.texas.gov/fishboat/boat/paddlingtrails/inland/seguin_lake_nolte/index.phtml
Situated only 1 mile from the city center, you can easily walk or bike to the square for breakfast and to enjoy the many festivals held there over the year. Within a 5 minute drive you have groceries, shopping and hospital services. You can be in the Texas State Capital (Austin) in an hour, San Antonio in 30 minutes, or New Braunfels in 20 minutes.
Home. You can't beat the view. Sitting on almost an acre lot, and in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is peaceful and serene. I feel my stress levels go down the minute I pull into the driveway. The original owners loved this home, you can tell, and designed in many different archways, nooks and crannies that keep you looking for the next surprise! It is truly a peaceful get away.
