The house and location is the best you can ask for. Property Managers were pleasant and accommodating. We will be going back next year and for many years to come!
Great, spacious house on a beautiful quiet property. The owners are very reponsive and easy to work with. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in a rustic farmhouse with modern amenities, this is the place for you.
Ski trail was overgrown but we enjoyed hiking in the nearby Appalachian trail and swimming at Hopgood park! House was great - very comfortable!
This is the third time we've stayed here for a week-long rental in the summer--obviously our three-generational family loves this place! It's well-maintained, with a great downstairs layout so we can spread out, and a dining room table large enough to fit all of us at mealtime. The grounds are beautiful, and spacious, and the road is blessedly quiet. The location is convenient to many local activities too, including Hapgood Pond and Lowell Lake which have become family favorites. Coming back feels like home!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The grounds and setting were gorgeous! The house itself was reminiscent of my great grandmothers farmhouse and couldn't have been better, clean and everything we needed. Londonderry was perfect with wonderful restaurants and plenty of fun, family friendly activities. Lowell Lake state park is a must see... Absolutely gorgeous and everything one thinks is Vermont ! We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to head back!
Me and my familly had a great time. House is clean and cozy, Everything You need is there. Communication with the host was very smooth. I would highly recommend this house!
The house is 1 mile from Londonderry shopping, 20 minutes from Manchester, and 6 miles from Weston. The 72 acre property includes 8 km of private trails for summer and fall use and ski passes for each house guest for the 39 km cross country ski and snowshoe trail system during the winter.
In the summer and fall, guests can fill their days without ever leaving the house's grounds -- playing in the large yard, walking the ski trails, flying kites in the meadow, or watching the sun set over the Green Mountains from the raised deck in the meadow. And of course, walking, running, or biking over the private trail network. The Appalachian Trail and Long Trail are nearby, Lowell Lake State Park is 1/2 mile away for canoeing, and there many great options for kayaking and fishing. Miles of Vermont back roads are great for long bike rides, runs, or drives.
