Our holiday in Sesimbra
We enjoyed our stay in Sesimbra very much and the apartment is exactly as pictured on the website. The views from the balcony are spectacular. Our first evening we sat on the balcony sipping wine that Jose had provided for us, relaxing and enjoying watching the fishing boats go by. Everything you could possibly need is provided, even binoculars to enjoy the view. I would advise having a car, especially if you are seniors as we were (parking is provided). Sesimbra is a beautiful little fishing town with many excellent restaurants and friendly people. The fish and seafood are out of this world. Highlights were a private tour of a winery and tile factory in nearby Setubal. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
Thank you. We are glad to know that you also like Sesimbra and our apartment. We are counting on you next year...
excellent
we stayed in this lovely apartment for 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. Jose came over on our first night and made us very welcome in his home. The apartment is very clean and spacious and felt like a real home with everything supplied as detailed in the advert and a lot more. The views are exceptional and the art work and personal touches in the house were great. We would like to return to the beautiful town of Sesimbra and would stay at this apartment again.

DELIGHTFUL INTRODUCTION TO PORTUGAL
The Apartment is in a quiet area, situated on a hill overlooking the town and small picturesque harbour of Sesimbra. We will always remember the beauty of it seen from the balcony as we enjoyed breakfast and also in the evening with the lights reflected in the water.
The Apartment was spotlessly clean and had every thing we needed. It was well furnished and had paintings and other artistic work by Jose's wife, Fernanda, which gave it a very homely feel.
Jose had provided us with useful practical information and although unable to welcome us on the day we arrived, visited us early in the week to check that everything was in order, something we very much appreciated.
All basic needs could be found in the town and there were larger supermarkets which we discovered as we travelled around by car. There are a number of good restaurants in the town and fresh fish is always on the menu at very reasonable prices.
Lisbon is a lovely city and easily reached by car, but as someone who lives on a small island and not used to cities, driving in it was something of a nightmare!
All in all our stay in Sesimbra was a very enjoyable experience and we thank Jose and Fernanda for allowing us to use their lovely apartment.

Dear Brian G.
Many thanks for the comments to our apartment and the village of Sesimbra. We want our customers to feel at home and to return to Portugal next year, when they wish to relax on vacation in this peaceful, safe and inexpensive environment.
With our best regards,
Fernanda & José
Wonderful Stay!!
What a wonderful accommodation! It was a week to treasure forever. The apartment had everything we could wish for and more. The huge balcony overlooking the sea and sand...the castle to be explored...the wonderful market to buy local delicacies...lovely restaurants...could even check our email at the library in the village for free! A bit of a hike up to the apt. but a taxi was only Euro 3.75 so if we had parcels we took advantage of this.Otherwise the exercise was welcome. Our host (Jose who spoke perfect English)met us there upon arrival and showed us around. We will return to this spot. (Bus to Lisbon from Sesimbra Euro 4.10 for a day in this beautiful city). All in all a most wonderful experience! :)
Thank you.
We work hard to make our customers feel comfortable in our apartment. Sesimbra is a small fishing haven with a large city full of interesting places to visit.
Best regards,
José & Fernanda
