Sesimbra Apartment Rental Photos and Description

- 1 double bedroom, 1 full bathroom, sleeps 4 to 6 on sofa bed, fully equipped

This apartment is officially registered as local accommodation. It's the second home of a common Portuguese family. Has all the necessary equipment for a family to spend the holidays and is near the beach and the city of Lisbon, the coolest city in Europe.

This apartment has one bedroom with a very comfortable double bed, a twin bed in a large living room overlooking the sea. It also has a balcony with superb views over the sea. There are many restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish and seafood caught in the area and all snacks of typical Portuguese food.

If you like the bustle of cities, use your car or take the bus to Lisbon (40 km) and enjoy the shops, historic sites, bars and beautiful places that you will never forget. We give you 8 resasons to stay here:

• Sesimbra is a natural paradise near Lisbon;

• The nightlife of Lisbon rivals the famed Madrid nightlife . The Bairro Alto is the main stage, there are over 250 bars lined up in a web of typical streets with walls painted graffiti. You can also visit the Pension Love at Cais do Sodré, and Lux nightclub .

• The quaint old cafés, taverns and taverns, join now modern and sophisticated restaurants, the famous cod-fish, the cream puffs and pork fillets are unforgettable.

• The irony of the Portuguese and old fun melancholy was reborn with the austerity of recent years. It is helping the Portuguese to keep the irony, even in difficult times.

• The beaches where you can eat great fish on the beach, and castles are some minutes walking away. The beaches and a huge casino in Estoril, Cascais a little further. Sintra is another destination recommended for a visit.

• The design. Lisbon enjoys being beautiful. From clothing to decor, through architecture. The Mude museum of fashion and design and work of award-winning architect Alvaro Siza Viera are even to see.

• The great buildings of art: Gulbenkian, Berardo Collection Museum, Museum of Ancient Art and the Oriental Museum, are among the counseled areas . Capitals such as London, Paris, Berlin and Madrid have collections of art of great success, but Lisbon has its own range of buildings.

• The fascinating streets. No one hates touring Lisbon on the sidewalk “Calçada Portuguesa”and tiles on typical buildings in the city.

Sesimbra is implanted on a hillside within a privileged area of astonishing beauty. This apartment with its position, will provide unique moments of pleasure and relaxation. Due to its natural and weather conditions, this region is ideal for practicing several types of sports all year around.

We stayed in Sesimbra for one week in March. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed and more. The views from the terrace were absolutely spectacular. We had no difficulty taking the bus from Sesimbra to various other sights in Portugal, such as Lisbon and Evora. We bought the best cheese, fish, and custard tarts in the village!

Our holiday in Sesimbra

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Sesimbra very much and the apartment is exactly as pictured on the website. The views from the balcony are spectacular. Our first evening we sat on the balcony sipping wine that Jose had provided for us, relaxing and enjoying watching the fishing boats go by. Everything you could possibly need is provided, even binoculars to enjoy the view. I would advise having a car, especially if you are seniors as we were (parking is provided). Sesimbra is a beautiful little fishing town with many excellent restaurants and friendly people. The fish and seafood are out of this world. Highlights were a private tour of a winery and tile factory in nearby Setubal. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

we stayed in this lovely apartment for 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. Jose came over on our first night and made us very welcome in his home. The apartment is very clean and spacious and felt like a real home with everything supplied as detailed in the advert and a lot more. The views are exceptional and the art work and personal touches in the house were great. We would like to return to the beautiful town of Sesimbra and would stay at this apartment again.

DELIGHTFUL INTRODUCTION TO PORTUGAL

  • 5 of 5

The Apartment is in a quiet area, situated on a hill overlooking the town and small picturesque harbour of Sesimbra. We will always remember the beauty of it seen from the balcony as we enjoyed breakfast and also in the evening with the lights reflected in the water.

The Apartment was spotlessly clean and had every thing we needed. It was well furnished and had paintings and other artistic work by Jose's wife, Fernanda, which gave it a very homely feel.

Jose had provided us with useful practical information and although unable to welcome us on the day we arrived, visited us early in the week to check that everything was in order, something we very much appreciated.

All basic needs could be found in the town and there were larger supermarkets which we discovered as we travelled around by car. There are a number of good restaurants in the town and fresh fish is always on the menu at very reasonable prices.

Lisbon is a lovely city and easily reached by car, but as someone who lives on a small island and not used to cities, driving in it was something of a nightmare!

All in all our stay in Sesimbra was a very enjoyable experience and we thank Jose and Fernanda for allowing us to use their lovely apartment.

Wonderful Stay!!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful accommodation! It was a week to treasure forever. The apartment had everything we could wish for and more. The huge balcony overlooking the sea and sand...the castle to be explored...the wonderful market to buy local delicacies...lovely restaurants...could even check our email at the library in the village for free! A bit of a hike up to the apt. but a taxi was only Euro 3.75 so if we had parcels we took advantage of this.Otherwise the exercise was welcome. Our host (Jose who spoke perfect English)met us there upon arrival and showed us around. We will return to this spot. (Bus to Lisbon from Sesimbra Euro 4.10 for a day in this beautiful city). All in all a most wonderful experience! :)
