Chalet Minouche is a beautiful two-bedroom semi-detached chalet on the edge of Chamonix town centre. Both bedrooms have ensuite facilities and two more sleep on a sofa bed in the lower hallway.

The living area is open plan with a brand-new, fully-equipped kitchen with an American-style, island-table that seats six, a comfortable curved sofa to watch TV from, and huge glass doors that look up on to Mont Blanc and open out on to a large, covered wooden decking.

Downstairs a garage and a jacuzzi round off a unique Chamonix chalet that offers you access to both town and its facilities and the ski lifts on foot.

Fabulous Place in a Great Location

The property was as described, very clean and had everything we needed for 2 weeks in Chamonix. The service from Mont Blanc Retreats was brilliant. I am gluten free and they helped out with recommendations for places to go. Very helpful advice and always at the end of the phone if we needed them. The very friendly owners live next door but never bothered us, only to say hello. The views from the property were fantastic, and the location is lovely and quiet for relaxing days and evenings yet only a few minutes walk into town for drinks and food (or fewer to the local bar). We could get to many of the ski lifts from the property without having to drive or take a bus, there are so many routes you really don't need to travel far. We would not hesitate to go back to this property, the views, tranquillity and facilities it offers can not be beaten in Chamonix. Hot tub particularly good after a day hiking!

not so cute as in pictures

the house is pretty cute but there is no privacy especially when you use the jacuzzy outside the house. there are a lot of people walking around the garden and you cannot relax yourself.

there is a lot of noise coming from the street near the house.

the cleaning was not perfect.

Owner's Response: Sadly this is a fictitious and malicious attempt to damage our reputation and rating for this chalet that has been carried out by an angry guest who became rude and abusive when they did not get the paperwork they wanted after they had left. They asked for an "invoice" for their accounts, and when we sent them a receipt, they became angry and abusive saying it wasn't what the wanted for their Italian accounts. We are still not sure what they wanted, but clearly they didn't get whatever that was. As a company, we can not issue "invoices" for rentals once they have been paid. We can only issue "receipts" in this situation. The guest also fails to point out that they Checked-In early at no change and then left 10 hours after Check-Out time without even having the decency to tell us they would. We had to reschedule cleaners to deal with it. Again, we didn't charge them. All in all, a bizarre and vindictive attempt to smear us and this property by a strangely angry guest. Please read all the other reviews to build a more truthful image of this property.

Great property with a wonderful open plan living area. Marvellous views and a real sun trap.

The large comfortable living area was a lovely space relax in.

The covered balcony was great to sit in on a perfect February sunny day - in shorts with splendid views of Mont Blanc and the Aguille du Midi. It would afford good shade in Summer. The generous hot tub was a real hit with the whole family.

I couldn't praise the ski drop off and collect service enough. Great kit and all well fitting and delivered by a really pleasant chap.

Bob at Mont Blanc Retreats has been really helpful with our booking.

The location of the property is good as you are in Chamonix centre after a few minutes stroll on the level.

Perfect location

Chalet Minouche is ideally situated as it is within a few minutes walk of Chamonix centre whilst being very secluded and quiet. The listing description was borne out entirely by the reality, although the views were even more impressive from the balcony than the pictures convey!

The property was very clean and tidy and the regular linen change worked perfectly. The owners live next door ( the chalet is managed by a separate company) and they are really friendly and welcoming without in any way being intrusive.

We would certainly recommend Chalet Minouche for anyone who loves the mountains and the outdoor life. Parking is excellent and access to the Chamonix Valley couldn't be easier. The celebrated Chamonix micro brewery is a couple of minutes away, and a brilliant place to have a beer after a hard day in the hills.

We certainly hope to return!

a beautiful place to stay

The house is very nice and the views are wonderful, it is also located near the center of Chamonix. The house is very well supplied, the only problema is the internet connection that doesn't work properly all the time.

Lovely property - drop dead gorgeous location.

We were blown away by the property, the living area was huge and Bob couldn't have been more helpful.

The location was really impressive, very close to the centre (10 mins) but with views of Mt Blanc and surrounding mountains to wake us up each day. The hot tub and balcony were well used at the end of each day.
