In the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the stunning views over the beach at Ventnor Bay. The apartment faces south on a quiet private road, with its own parking, overlooking the beach and 5 mins walk to town.
The apartment is situated in the victorian coastal town of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. Famous for its mild Mediterranean style microclimate it has the highest number of sunshine hours in the UK.
With family friendly beach, lined with pretty victorian beach huts and fantastic coastal scenery, it is perfect for families or couples and often attracts walkers, writers and artists who come in search of unspoilt views. Its quirky mix of small vintage shops and many popular restaurants offer something for everyone. Some of our apartments are also dog friendly.

The apartment has fantastic sea views from both the lounge and bedroom, perfect for lying in bed and listening to the waves!
The apartment is decorated with a coastal theme and has broadband wi-fi, smart television, a dvd player and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. Crisp white bed linen and towels are also provided.
We have a laundry room, offer a selection of games, books and DVDs and there is also a small garden for guests to use.

About Dawn Giles
We are a family from Hampshire who simply love the sea! We have travelled to many places with work and for fun, but are always drawn back to the coastline for those ever changing sea views and big skies. We lead busy lives, Guy runs his own company providing technology to local government organisations and I juggle running the apartments along with 2 children and a dog, so Ventnor is somewhere we escape to whenever possible! We have tried to give the apartments a lovely coastal feel with whitewashed walls and driftwood signs, and we have left lots of books and games for all to enjoy. We hope you will have a fantastic time in Ventnor and would love you to hear about the best bits of your holiday. Guy, Dawn, Zac & Amelie Giles

Why Dawn Giles chose Ventnor
A sunny day, a posh coffee and a sea view! We had talked about owning a holiday home for years, and spent many hours gazing longingly in estate agents windows and searching for the right place. We fell in love with the Isle of Wight and particularly Ventnor, for its fantastic coastline and quirky shops & cafes. Finding the apartments where we could lie in bed and listen to the waves on the beach was like a dream come true. Our children, Zac & Amelie, love finding treasures in rockpools, eating homemade ice creams from Crave, and playing frisbee on the beach. Our dog, Derek, loves charging around on the beach and fetching driftwood from the sea. Guy and I love to spend a sunny day with a good book and a posh coffee, just soaking up the sea view.
What makes this Apartment unique
My best bits are: - Enjoying a cheeky tipple on the patio whilst watching the sun reflecting off the sea - Lying in bed listening to the waves - Feeling the sun on my face whilst relaxing in the deck chair - Watching the wall lizards basking in the sun on the garden wall - Walking along the coastal path on a windy day - Playing cricket or rounders on the beach at the end of the day - Finding treasures in rockpools and building sandcastles - Grabbing award winning fish and chips from the Haven fishery - Not needing to go out anywhere, because you already have the best view in town!

It's a fantastic apartment with everything you need. Very very comfortable.
Location is perfect. So close to beach and town centre. The view is to die for. The only fault is that the apartment was perfect and we found it hard to leave it to go out and explore the island. Which we did and felt great returning to it. Will definitely return and definitely recommend this apartment to friends and relatives.
Bring on the dreams!
Convenient to the beach and restaurants in Ventnor. Very quiet, with gorgeous views of the ocean. The apartment was perfect for the 3 of us and had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable and we all seemed to have the most wonderful dreams!!
Thank you Dawn for this wonderful experience.
This apartment was beautiful. The view from the lounge and bedroom is stunning. You can lie in bed listening to the waves, so relaxing. Everything in the apartment was spotless and it was well equipped with everything you need. The owner, Dawn, was around when we arrived to advise us on the town, restaurants etc. and she was lovely. I had already had email correspondence with her prior to our arrival and she was extremely helpful. Could not fault this apartment but just be careful when booking as the pictures show all the apartments and some have balconies but this one does not. Only other thing to point out is the number of steps, there are quite a few up to the apartment but there are also quite a lot down to the beach and loads up to the town.
Would thoroughly recommend this apartment!
Great location, with parking, just up from the sea front at Ventnor. One bedroom with comfortable double bed and bunks plus pull down double bed in the sitting room. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Nicely furnished including TV with Netflix!
Very clean, very tastefully decorated and well-equipped for our needs. The location was really good. Our only criticism was that we were mislead by the photos into thinking that we had a balcony on the property. The photo was actually of the terrace 2 floors below. We also didn't realise that there were an awful lot of steps up and down, which made unloading our luggage hard work!!
Thanks for your review and I'm very glad you liked the apartment.
We do try to be very accurate with our descriptions of the apartment and there is no mention of a balcony in the advertisement so I'm sorry if you misinterpreted the pictures. We are generally happy for guests to make use of our patio area shown if they would like to sit outside though.
Hope to see you another time.
Stunning views out. To sea
The apartment was clean and well appointed. The views were stunning. Ventnor is a nice little seaside town with some interesting shops. The fish and chips from the fish stall were delicious.
