This lovely townhome is well-situated between the fourth and 12th fairways of the famous Mauna Lani North Golf Course and is located just one block from the newly completed Shops at Mauna Lani with Tommy Bahamas Restaurant, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Juice 101, brand new gourmet grocery store and more!

Adjacent to the incredible Fairmont Orchid and its stunning blue lagoon beach,this unit greets you with a soaring 20-foot ceiling in its comfortable great room. Fully furnished with high quality hardwood and leather furniture, 42-inch flat screen, fully stocked chefs culinary kitchenware and Viking built-in barbecue and bar sink. Great views from townhome of the oversized resort pool, waterfall, and the nearly 14,000-foot snow-capped (in winter) Mauna Kea from both floors.

The generously-sized, resort-style pool and spa is just steps away from this townhome's large lanai. Upstairs bedroom has king bed. Downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. Bedrooms on separate floors allows maximum privacy. Upstairs master has enormous bathroom, jetted tub, and separate shower plus large private lanai, large flat screen TV w/DVD. Both bedrooms are situated away from living area. This unit unlike many in the Fairways doesn't have another unit directly across from the living and master bedroom for added privacy.

Larry is retired and Marty is a pastry chef at the Four Seasons Resort here on the big Island. We live here with our two Jack Russell's, Ruby and Jack and our Love Bird Laka.

We purchased at the Mauna Lani Fairways for its beautiful design and construction, great location to several beaches, resorts, fine dining, golf, shopping and lovely warm climate.

What makes this townhome unique

The pool and gym are steps away from our unit and is as lovely in the evening floating on your back star gazing as it is looking up at the blue sky’s and beautiful palm trees of day light. The views from the upper lanai are wonderful both day and night and we love the gourmet kitchen and all it has to offer. The privacy between floors (bedrooms and baths) is also a big plus with our unit as it makes for a private setting in each area.

Mahalo for one of the loveliest visits and stay on the Big Island! From the moment we walked into the condo we felt every want/need had been anticipated and taken care off. No stone was left unturned. A spotless well appointed decor, well stocked kitchen , fit for a professional chief, to the central and convenient location of the condo. We started our days snorkeling @ The Beach Club, and finished our nights by swimming in the conviently located pool, looking up at the moon light through the Palm Trees.It is truly Paradise. Thank you Larry and Marty for your thoughtfulness and professionalism, you and your place are second to none.

Perfect home away from home!

My husband and I and our two boys enjoyed 2 weeks here over the Christmas holiday this year. The condo was perfect! Very clean, organized, plenty of space to feel like home and perfectly stocked with everything we needed. Being a cook, the kitchen was the best and made me feel like I was at home cooking in my own kitchen. They have everything you could possibly need; spices, oils, condiments. We enjoyed all of our meals outside on the patio. Something we can't do it home in December.

The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed many hours playing in the swimming pool, just steps away from our condo. Some days having the pool to ourselves!

The location was perfect for our needs. A short walk to the Fairmont (spent a few wonderful days at the public beach), a short drive to the Beach Club (you are given a card to enter here) and having the shopping area around the corner was very convenient. Great restaurants, cute shops and wonderful grocery store. Several great parks, beaches and fun small towns just 20 minutes from the condo.

Larry was available for any questions we had and was very helpful giving us tips on the island before and while we were vacationing.

The island is very large and we only checked a few things off the list and will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful time for my family! Memories to last a life time.

Extremely well-equipped and comfortable townhouse

Our family of 3 spent nine very comfortable and enjoyable nights in this rental. As others have stated, it is very clean and nicely furnished. We have stayed in countless VRBO rentals around the world, and this was definitely the most well equipped we have ever seen. Mauna Lani is conveniently located to some fantastic beaches. Larry was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. I would suggest people sleeping in the downstairs bedroom bring eye shades as the room isn't very dark at night. We look forward to returning soon.

The best in Mauna Lani!!

This is my 6th trip to the island and my 3rd stay in Mauna Lani. I would say without hesitation that this is the best VRBO I've ever stayed at!! Top notch. Larry is amazing to deal with. The place is stocked!! It felt like being at home. The kitchen is not missing one thing. Tons of towels, bedding, and soap. Fully stocked laundry room. Things that come in handy during a stay on the island. The lanai was private and gorgeous. The beds were super comfy. I don't have one complaint about this property. Don't miss out on this gem!!

Best of the Big Island

A week in this unit was like living in Paradise! Perfect gated location within walking distance to cool shops, restaurants, 2 resort hotels and, of course, the beach..... Nice pool area close to the unit. Larry also has all that you would want on a Hawaii vacation - Beach Club membership, beach towels, cooler bags, snorkel equipment etc. The condo is very well furnished, and comfortable for lounging, reading, movie watching, or taking a nap....

For those who like to cook, you won't find a better equipped kitchen - all the utensils, cookware, appliances and spices you need for gourmet meals - almost unheard of for condo rentals. Also, the miscellaneous supplies - ziplock bags, cling wrap, foil, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc.

Great location for exploring the rest of the Island, close to Saddle Road and the main "ring road" to get to Kona, Waimea, Hilo, or the volcanoes.

Highly recommend this unit, and Larry is a responsive owner with guest comfort top of mind.

Very comfortable, well equipped home

We had a wonderful time at this home. The location is great, very close to the pool, beaches, and shops.

One of the things we appreciated in our stay was the well equipped kitchen. It was nice to have a blender and juicer for morning smoothies and fresh juice. Another perk was laundry. We like to stay in homes, not hotels for these types of reasons. Having a nice kitchen and laundry, help save money by not eating every meal out and allow us to pack lighter.

The pool area is very nice and not crowded. We used the pool nearly each day of our trip and never had a problem getting lounge chairs. The pool is a 30 second walk from the house. We appreciated the boogie boards and floating devices provided in the garage at the private beach. We did go to a few public beaches as well but the beach club ended up to be not only our favorite, but the most convenient. The royal fish ponds provided an interesting walk just north of the beach club and it was fun to see the eels.

All in all we had a fantastic time at this lovely home. It was exactly what we were looking for.

The perfect place

The Fairways has been our go to spot for three years, and we have known the owner/managers of this condo since our first stay. This was our first time in this unit, and we loved every minute of being there. It is beautifully decorated and maintained, well equipped, and if there is any problem with anything Larry is quickly there to make it right. The location within the complex is perfect; very private but easy, close access to the pool, but not too close, and a nice vista of the sweeping lawns and trees. Having stayed in all three floor plans this one is my favorite. It's perfect for two people, but plenty big enough for another person or couple. We have already made our reservations for next year.
