A ground floor two bedroom apartment, with en-suite bathroom and one shower room/cloakroom. Spacious bright open-plan living area, with all the machines. The location of this property makes the apartment quite unique- you are literally moments from the tube station and some of the best shops and yet the apartment is peaceful and quiet. In a very upmarket area of London, with numerous cafes, bars and pubs just around the corner - it is a 5 minute walk to Portobello Road and Notting Hill Gate. This apartment has just been completely redesigned and decorated, with quality appliances and furniture and fittings, nothing but the best. Clean and fresh decor, light wooden flooring, carpeted master bedroom, top quality bedlinen. Looking out to some of the most expensive real estate in London, and greenery. You will be utterly amazed at how close you are to everything LONDON has to offer. Wireless Internet included.

Well located and immaculately appointed apartment

Ignoring the outside appearance, this ground floor apartment is very well located in Notting Hill. Despite the Holland Park tube station being closed for maintenance when we were there, we were still able to get around very easily, with frequent buses on the main street only a block away, and only a short walk to Notting Hill or Shepherds Bush stations on the Central line. Lots of shops nearby made it easy to get groceries to prepare meals in the well appointed kitchen. And with the huge Westfield shopping centre literally just down the street, there was no shortage of other shopping etiher. Our host was very friendly and greeted us in person and showed us around her apartment. The apartment itself, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a full chef's kitchen and spacious lounge, made it very easy to have a day in during our week-long stay. Everything was provided, right down to washing powder. Furnishings are immaculate and very well styled, fresh and coordinated throughout. Also close to several excellent English pubs all within 2 or 3 minutes walk! Will definitely stay again.

Perfect family accommodations!

We spent Spring Break in London, our first family visit, and were so pleased with the property. Everything was clean and ready upon our arrival. Yvonne met us personally and was extremely pleasant. Although the closest tube station was closed, the alternative station was a very short walk, about 5 minutes. We are glad we stayed out in the Notting Hill area, as we probably wouldn't have made it out to explore there if we had stayed closer in to Buckingham, and all of the sights were a very easy tube ride away. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and groceries close by the flat. We particularly enjoyed The Mitre and Ladbroke arms, as well as the Italian deli around the corner for coffee and pastry. If you get a chance, do visit Holland Park - a beautiful place for a stroll, particularly on a bright, sunny day. Many thanks to Yvonne for the wonderful welcome. We hope we get a chance to come back!

Wonderful apartment in an elegant neighborhood

This apartment made a comfortable home for two couples for our week's stay in London. It has two comfortable bedrooms and baths with good storage space, a large and well equipped kitchen, a pleasant sitting room, and a washer and dryer. The location could not have been better. The immediate neighborhood is a pleasant residential area with numerous shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Best of all, a tube stop on the central line is literally a one-minute walk away. Our host, Yvonne, was friendly and helpful. When we had a minor problem with the apartment, she had it fixed immediately. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you, Yvonne!

Excellent

Our family loved the flat. We recently stayed over the Christmas holiday through New Year's. The location was wonderful with quick access to mass transit, lots of places to eat all in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The flat was so nicely appointed and Eve was delightful to work with. Lots of pubs and shops all around and Notting Hill just up the street. Lovely area and great flat, that truly made our trip a huge success.

Great location, quiet flat. Really close to tube!

Location was great. Apartment was on ground floor ..very safe security gate, very quiet and very close to tube...I/2 block! Yvonne was our contact and always so considerate and helpful.

We had a London Blue Badge private guide meet us at the flat

and he was very impressed with the location. The American style washer AND dryer was great. Lots of pubs,restaurants Tesco Grocery etc in area. Would definitely recommend it.

Brilliant location, friendly owner and good accommodation

The location of this property is great, easy access to the Tube, Hop On and Hop Off tours and amenities such as delis, supermarkets and restaurants and we felt very safe walking around. Yvonne was helpful and responded promptly to our queries. The outside of the building is a bit run down but the apartment itself is generally well maintained. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Holland Park with a restaruant and cafe, it also has a popular Adventure Playground for children, Barnes Wetland Centre for birdwatching and nature walk, Legoland at Windsor, Cycling around the City on a 'Boris bike', Golf at Chiswick, Ice skating in Queensway, Rollerblading in Kensington Gdns/Hyde Park. Horse Riding in 'Rotten Row' Hyde Park from stables in Bayswater, Tennis in all the London Parks, The British Library at Euston, All the London Museums and tourist attractions.. wonderful cafe scene and numerous pubs, good restaraunts - all within walking distance, also Portobello Rd. market at Notting Hill Gate. The 'Oxford Tube', a frequent coach service which runs all day and night - the coach stop is just around the corner, takes you to the university city of Oxford for £20 return.
