This luxury 2 bedroom 2 bathroom spacious penthouse apartment is in a beautiful setting and comfortably sleeps 5 (plus a cot). It is immaculately presented inside and very well cared for.

The large dual aspect sunny terrace has some of the best views on the established El Presidente complex overlooking the main fountain and waterways in one direction, and the one of the quieter pools and mountains in the other. The terrace is a must for sun worshipers as being dual aspect, we benefit from sun all day long, with always one area in the shade either to relax on the sun loungers or on the outdoor settee and chairs.

The inspiration for the grounds came from the design of the magnificent Alhambra Palace in Granada.

We chose this apartment as our second home because we love the feeling of space and light which carries on to the large private terrace which is great for entertaining with a built in BBQ area, outdoor fridge and sink as well as outdoor sofas, and a dining area for 6. The accommodation is fitted to an extremely high standard, where we benefit from large marble floored open plan living areas with Air Conditioning/heating, WI-Fi, 46' flat screen TV in the lounge, cable TV (including Sky Sports 1&2), DVD, 2nd flat screen TV in the main bedroom and Bang and Olufsen TV in the second bedroom, Fully fitted kitchen which is superbly equipped with everythng you would find in your kitchen at home including coffee machine, food processor, blender, numerous serving dishes aswell as kids crockery, beakers etc. The extremely spacious lounge is tastefully decorated and is modern, uncluttered and stylish with a large dining area (comfortable seating for 6) that opens out onto the terrace and benefits from the fabulous views.

Being at the heart of the complex, you are 2 minutes walk to all 5 pools, one heated year round. Just a 3 minute walk to the 4 free tennis courts, and 2 pedal courts, and a 5 minute stroll to the beach and chiringuito. There are many interesting family activities nearby as well as 30+ golf courses easily accessible.

El Presidente is a well established family friendly complex and people love to come back year after year. Well maintained grounds and 5 pools and being walking distance from the beach, bars and restaurants make it a great year round destination.

This is absolutely one of the best apartments on the whole complex with its quiet location, unobscured huge sunny, dual aspect terrace and fantastic views.The large outdoor area with BBQ and sink/outdoor food preparation area is a fantastic bonus.

We have just returned from spending a week in Sean and Deborah’s wonderful apartment. Having rented numerous holiday properties we are always apprehensive as to what greets you when you open the door but we needn’t have worried as their apartment was spotless, nicely decorated with quality furnishings and fitted out as if it was a home so you really didn’t want for anything. The terrace is a great sun trap and fantastic for evening dining complete with BBQ and outside fridge.

The development itself has beautiful gardens and a choice of swimming pools (the heated pool was a lovely bonus as we went in October) and the beach is only a 5-minute walk away. We would recommend a visit to the two beach restaurants – great views and lovely food.

We will definitely be returning.

Lovely Apartment

My partner and me stayed here for three weeks in February/March 2013.

It is a lovely apartment. The description on the HomeAway site is very accurate. We particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. As the weather was pretty dreadful most of the time we did lots of cooking. I just wish we had Mercadona in the UK! The new store on the Benahavis road is particularly good. As we were out of season all the restaurants were very quiet (often empty) so we preferred to eat in. The one exception was the nearby Cocomo. Fairly priced and excellent service. Do go and book ahead especially for Fridays and Saturdays.

Back to the apartment....the terrace was great and we would love to have made more of it (it just rained so much). It was good to be on the second floor as there was no one living above us. A ground floor or first floor apartment is likely to be quite noisy.

We had some minor niggles (main bedroom TV did not work and one of the showers did not run independently of the bath tap) but this is part and parcel of renting an apartment. The main thing was that the owners (Sean & Deborah) dealt with everything very promptly and had a very good handyman (Javier) on call. The main disappointment was that the heated pool was not heated. Apparently this is a new policy on the part of the new complex in order to reduce electricity bills.

Tennis courts were good (I think there were four; concrete but well maintained and easily flooded). We used them everyday that it didn't rain. The area around the main pool was very attractive as was the whole complex. Its just a short stroll to the beach too.

In the past we've stayed in quite a few apartments in the vicinity including Los Arqueros and the much loved Mar Azul just outside Estepona. Overall Sean & Deborah's apartment is the one we would both choose to return in the early or late summer (February/March is just too much of a risk as far as the weather is concerned!). We would choose it because of the excellent furnishings, the great terrace, the lovely main pool, the free tennis courts and the tranquil grounds of the complex.

Fantastic apartment on a great complex

We had a great winter break and were able to enjoy the fab apartment and terrace to its full. We've stayed in a few complexes on the cost but this is is the best with its lovely gardens and heated pool and tennis courts. Amazing contrast to the weather back in the UK.

The owners were able to recomend some really nice restaurants that were walking distance from the apartment. We'll definately be back in the summer.

Situated in a prime location along the Marbella-Estepona coastline, and regarded as one of the most prestigious complexes on the coast, El Presidente lies amongst lush, leafy, green gardens, being a mere 350 metres from the open beach of Playa Del saladillo. The position, just west of Marbella, combines the peace and privacy of its distinguished surroundings with proximity to Marbella, San Pedro de Alcantara, Estepona and Puerto Banus. The white spanish villages that typify the Andalucian region such as Ronda, Mijas, Istan and Casares are within an hours drive, all set against spectacular and beautiful scenery. The pretty mountain village of Benahavis is a mere 10 minutes drive away where you'll find some of the best restaurants on the Costa Del Sol.

Just an hours drive west lies the wild, rugged and largely undiscovered coast of the Costa De La Luz, with its vast, open and deserted beaches and the quaint, rustic town of Tarifa, famed for its windsurfing and charm.
