Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. Hollyburn Lodge is in a delightful setting in it's own grounds and facing a large pond with ducks. The cottage is warm and comfortable with 2 bedrooms downstairs and an open plan upstairs. The lounge area has a beautiful balcony with a lovely view over the pond and surroundings. The kitchen is very well equipped and a great place to cook. We were delighted with everything especially the Christmas tree and the log stove! The owners are very nice people and came to welcome us when we arrived. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a lovely stay in the countryside.

beautiful house

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful little house in a totally rural setting but only 5 minutes from stonehaven. you would need a car to stay here as no access to public transport. but if you had that I couldn't recommend it enough. comfy beds and tastefully decorated living/dining room.

Amazing Lodge overlooking a beautiful lake view.

Immaculate Lodge. Fully furnished with every item you could possibly require. Very roomy and clean.

The owners are welcoming and very helpful. They left milk and flowers to start our stay.

The lodge has an amazing view over the surrounding countryside and it's own lake which you can fish in.

Local trip to Stonehaven outdoor salt pool and town make a great day out.

Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Would love to stay again.

Aberdeen City and Shire is home to the country’s largest national park, a dramatically imposing coastline and of course the city itself, there is so much to explore in Aberdeen City and Shire. Fusing striking granite architecture, a rich and inspiring history, a dynamic modern arts scene and perhaps Scotland's strongest industrial heritage; the country's third largest city offers a host of treasures, just waiting to be explored again & again.
