About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

ALOHA!

Welcome to our beachfront villa!

This three bedroom home on Oahu's North Shore is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of City life. It's only a forty minute drive from Honolulu Airport - located in a gated community fronting Ke-Iki beach, famous for its sand, surf and sunsets. It's also a great place to catch a glimpse of whales and spinner dolphins passing in the far-off waters. Our yard, in particular, is one of THE BEST spots on the island to see seasonal migrating whales!

As our guest, you'll be provided with everything you need for a fun and memorable North Shore vacation:

Our home sleeps up to six adults and two children. Each bedroom has a full set of pillows, sheets and blankets. There is a fold-out crib in the closet. Both full bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo and body wash. There is also a hair dryer for guests who like - dry hair.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker, rice cooker, dishwasher, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and a full set of dishes. We even provide the kitchen basics, like oil, salt, pepper, sugar, aluminum foil, handi-wrap and ziploc bags.

Other amenities include: air conditioning, a large screen TV, cable channels, a bluetooth audio player, internet service, a washer/dryer, an outdoor gas grill and warm outdoor showers.

For outdoor excursions, we've got plenty of beach towels, snorkel equipment, body boards, sand toys and a colorful fleet of bikes available for you to use. You can bike to the famous Sunset or Waimea Beach in ten minutes or less. If you'd rather walk, Shark's Cove is just a stroll away. Foodland, the local grocery store, is also minutes away!

Please call or email if me you have any questions regarding the property or your Hawaii vacation, in general. I hope you have a great day and a wonderful vacation!

This house is beautiful. The perfect place to stay on the Noth Shore!

  • 5 of 5

The house is right off of the main road but feels secluded. It is in its own gated compound. You are located right on the beach. There is a lava field to the left as you can see in the pictures, but the house sits at the edge of it, so it is not a hinderance im terms of accessing the beach. And watching the waves crash over the rock is beautiful.

The beds are really comfortable. You can hear the waves at night. The house is really clean and the property is well maintained.

We walked to Shark's Cove, the grocery store, and the food trucks.

All 4 of our children said hands down this was the best vacation ever!

When we were there, it was still early in the season. The swells were too big to swim off of our beach, however, watching those huge waves come crashing in was something we had never had the chance to see before. It was awe inspiring. We also walked along the beach to the Bonzai Pipeline and watched some incredible athletes surfing those giant swells!

We were able to swim at Waimea Beach, and we also discovered that if we drove about 15 minutes to the beaches on the windward side, the surf was calmer and the beaches are relatively secluded. Oh and we ate at Giovanni's which is that direction as well. Delicious garlic shrimp!

We can't say enough about the house and this location. There was plenty of beach gear, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, water shoes, sup, chairs, toys, etc. There are also beach towels and the bathrooms had shampoo, body wash, and hair dryers.

The kitchen has all of the basics.

We grilled on the BBQ most nights and ate all of our meals on the deck watching the waves roll in.

It was a unique experience in the perfect setting.

Truly a great place to stay. Beautiful view, outstanding location plus the house had everything you needed. Grocery store, Pipeline, and many restaurants close by. Kitchen, bedrooms and facilities gave you the comfort of home. Would stay there in a minute.

Perfect family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Tropical Waters for two weeks over the holidays. The house was lovely and exactly as advertised - large, comfortable and well equipped. The location right on Ke-Iki beach was hard to beat too! The house also came with a huge amount of gear including 6 bikes in good working order, 2 SUPs, dozens of mask and snorkel sets, flippers, boogie boards, beach toys for the kids, and more! Cindy was the best host you could ask for - kind and always helpful. We'll definitely be heading back to Tropical Waters soon. One of the nicest places to stay on the North Shore!

Incredible Location and great house

  • 5 of 5

We had a great trip this October. The location was perfect. Walking distance to a grocery store, beaches, sharks cove, and awesome food trucks. Don't skip the food trucks. One of our best meals was at a food truck at Shark's Cove (be sure to check the back row). The house was in pretty good condition and exactly as described. Air conditioning in every room, outdoor shower to rinse off the sand (with hot water), and a large supply of beach toys, chairs, bikes, etc. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Fantastic location and property!

  • 5 of 5

There are few places that I would go back to, but this is definitely one of them. The sunsets were amazing and we loved hanging out on the porch. The house had everything you needed, plus a grocery store within walking distance. We loved the whole "north shore" vibe. This is a real treat!

What a great house!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house! I would come again just to hang on the deck and look over the ocean. Great location. Let me say that again...great location!!!! Right on the coast, no street noise and walking distance to foodland. How good is that? Perhaps the first VRBO home we have rented where the photos did not do the house justice. Well furnished. So nice to have bikes and beach gear available. Plenty of space to hang out and very comfortable beds. Good thread count sheets. A bonus to have a quality wireless speaker. Nice big modern kitchen to cook in. Cindy was very easy to work with and very helpful. Some minor things that would have made the house even better. The lights in the kitchen need to be on a dimmer. All the other lights are on a dimmer and this one must have gotten missed. The fan above the dinning room table should be on a separate switch so the light can be on without the fan. We love to cook and it would have been nice if the dishes were as high a quality as the rest of the house. And finally, some bigger coffee mugs would be nice so we could have hung out on the deck longer without a refill. All really minor stuff which did not impact our stay one bit. We will be back!
