Bear Love is located just 3 miles from the Pigeon Forge parkway out Wears Valley Road. Trapper's Ridge Resort is a small and quiet resort with only 10 cabins. This one bedroom cabin is very cozy and gives privacy without being isolated. Perfect for your honeymoon, anniversary or the couple just needing a relaxing time together. Our guest love the convenience to most of the Pigeon Forge attractions and major shopping outlets.

About Donna Grizzle

We live in Alabama and enjoy traveling to new places. We purchased vacation rental property as an investment only but soon decided we'd rather handle the rentals ourselves. All of our guest are very important to us so we continuously strive to make sure they all will want to return.

Donna Grizzle purchased this cabin in 2003

Why Donna Grizzle chose Pigeon Forge

After searching many resorts in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area we fell in love with Trapper's Ridge Resort. We really liked the fact that it's not crowded with too many cabins so it's perfect for a quiet, relaxing place to stay. The convenience of being only 3 miles from the main parkway and all the activities is a great bonus.

What makes this cabin unique

We both love the cozy feel at Bear Love, it's like a home away from home. We spend a lot of time on the back porch, our favorite spot. It's where we read or enjoy the hot tub and it's very relaxing.

Affordable romantic getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband & I decided to stay here for our 10 year anniversary. Donna was great to work with & setting it up was easy. The location is perfect for a quiet get away. Far enough from town & noise for privacy, but also close enough to do things. The cabin is beautiful & the pictures don't do it justice! Loved the decor & the softer lights of the lamps & tree vs turning on the big over head ones. It truly felt like home. The creaks from the cabin shifting are something to get used to. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub & deck, it was very relaxing on a chilly night.

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th Anniversary last weekend. Cute and cozy real log cabin. Close to Pigeon Forge but out of all the traffic. Very reasonable rates. Donna was a pleasure to work with. We've stayed in several different cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, this cabin was clean, affordable, and private. I have already recommended to friends and family.

This cabin is absolutely wonderful! It is private, but still close to Pigeon Forge. The cabin is clean and has everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for our 31st wedding anniversary. We usally get a hotel but I found this cabin and I am so glad I did. The price was cheaper than a hotel. It is very easy to find. Close enough to all the action but very private. There are cabins around but the way the cabin sits on the property it is very private. The driveway is a little tricky. The owners are great to work with. We hope to rent this cabin again in the future.

What a great time my husband and I had on this trip. This cabin was just awesome in every way. The location was great and so was the layout of the cabin. The setting was so peaceful . Will definitely be staying here again in the future. One last thing I must mention is how hospitable Donna was !!!! Thanks for sharing your sweet cabin with us .

Me and my husband came down for a few days and stayed at this charming cabin. We have stayed in many cabins in the area with our children so it was very nice to be in a charming cabin like this for the two of us. It is very quiet and has a lot of space and everything you would need. The only thing that I would say needs to be mention is when you come to the cabin watch out for the driveway as it has a huge dip and with a small car that sits low to the ground it bottom out so you just need to make sure you don't pull right up near the steps. If we get the time again for just an "us" trip we will be back.
