Jeff and Joy were super sweet and attentive. The location was perfect.
Very convenient location and appreciated the ability to park our vehicle.
Didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen or shared space with the owners but the en-suite area was private and clean.
Lower Queen Anne condo
Good location and could walk to the Seattle Center. Friendly owners and cute dog, but the place was a little chilly indoors.
Beautiful people at beautiful location
Jeff, joy and coco were all three amazing! Thank you forbidden the lovely stay and the recommendations to beautiful sightseeing just walking distance away!! Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in having a comfortable bed near the city center.
It was a pleasure having you stay with us! We’d love to welcome you back in the near future! All the best!
Great location and lovely, friendly property owners!
Jeff and Joy were so accommodating regarding my late arrival. The room and bath are very clean. They have a nice view of the water from the living room. The location seems perfect for my first visit to Seattle. I was close to my son and we walked everywhere. Pikes market and Seattle center were just a few of the places we walked to.
Great experience, would do it again
My wife and I visited Seattle Aug 8-12th and stayed here. Joy and Jeff are very nice people and Jeff greeted us at the door and made us a lemon drink upon our arrival. This was a pleasant change from staying in a hotel. There was a personal touch involved.
During our stay we were gone most of the time. We toured Pike's Place and all of the establishments along the waterfront (within walking distance), the Space Needle and several parks around Seattle, including Volunteer Park, where the Black Sun exists, referenced in the song Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, Olympic Park and Kerry Park with its breathtaking view of the Seattle Skyline.
We also took a day cruise to Victoria Canada where we toured Butchart Gardens for half the day and then took a bike tour around the island, finally stopping at a quaint little Italian sandwich shop before returning to the boat for the cruise back to Seattle.
Finally we attended the Saturday showing of Pearl Jam's "Home Show". It was a great concert!
Joy and Jeff live within walking distance of a lot of attractions, including the Space Needle and all of the museums in and around that area. We did a lot of walking and ate at a lot of the restaurants in the area. We were happy that there were very little national-chain type establishments here. Most restaurants and stores were mom-and-pop shops.
Generally, Lower Queen Anne seems to be a fairly upscale area. We were comfortable walking to and from their place at any time of day or night. The neighborhood was clean and appeared well kept. We did use public transit which worked out great! We bought Orca cards right from the airport and for $20 on each card (me and my wife) we were able to get to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. We used it several times each day. The app, or Google make using the transit system incredibly easy. The light rail to and from the airport was great! We did not have to rent a car and we never regretted that decision.
Overall we had a great time and we're glad we went this route rather than a hotel. We would do it this way again without question.
Hope this review helps!
