5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house close to Manhattan but secluded in the Flint Hills
About Chris Wilson
Our family lives on the surrounding ranch. We are involved in a variety of farming and ranching operations. We welcome you to visit and enjoy a setting close to Manhattan yet tucked into the Flint Hills.
Chris Wilson purchased this House in 2012
Why Chris Wilson chose Manhattan
Members of our family have lived here since 1968. Our family moved here in 2006 and purchased the surrounding property in 2012.
What makes this House unique
This guest house is a chance to get away and have a place where your family or group can be close to Manhattan, yet share a private time together with access to common areas of the house. The house is a 1923 farmhouse with a native stone porch, in a relaxing native prairie setting. We say, "it's not fancy, but it's comfortable." It is kind of a step back in time. What we hear most often from guests is that it reminds them of their grandmother's home or how comfortable the beds are.

Great Gameday Getaway!
We had a great experience with this property. It’s an easy drive to downtown Manhattan (as the description says). The home is quiet and comfortable. We used it for game day lodging, and it was perfect!
Thanks so much! You were great guests!
Perfect Location for a Football Weekend!
This was a wonderful property for our college sorority reunion with about 8 adults. It was clean, comfortable and easily accessible to the college, stadium and Aggieville. Chris, the owner, was very welcoming and easily available for any questions.
We had a great stay! Owners are VERY accommodating! The country setting and yet close to town!!
Great!! A country setting house!!! Everything you need! Will be back!!!
Thank you so much! We enjoyed having you here and look forward to seeing you again!
