This is a very rare and very beautiful apartment right in the heart of Chamonix. It is a recent build in traditional Chamonix style, finished and appointed to a very high standard. It has a private, enclosed, 150m2 garden on two sides with stunning views over Mont Blanc. The main shops and restaurants are only a very short walk away, yet the apartment is in a very quiet and tranquil street. It is also close to all ski-bus stops. For those who know Chamonix, it is part of the new, exclusive area just behind the Chanel and Patagonia shops.
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sleeps 6 comfortably (8 is possible if you use the sofa bed).
The master bedroom has a double bed and wardrobes. It has a window on one side, with magnificent views over Mont Blanc and a Patio door on the other with direct access to the garden.
Bedroom two sleeps 4 and has two sets of Italian bunk-beds which fold away in to the wall to make extra space when not needed.
Bathroom 1 has a full bath, toilet, bidet, sink as well as washing machine and dryer. Bathroom 2 has a shower, sink and toilet.
The dining area seats 8 with comfort and is appointed with a large dining table. The lounge area has two leather chairs, sofa bed coffee table and dresser.
The kitchen is appointed with a full size fridge-freezer, full oven, dishwasher, and 4 hotplates along with ample storage space.
The hallway has fitted wardrobes for storage - especially useful for all the ski gear!.
In addition there is private parking in the underground garage (very important for Chamonix) as well as a ski locker.
Hi, We are the Derrys; Andrew, Anne-Marie and 4 lively children. Although we are British, we have spent many years working in various parts of the world. Andrew is a head teacher of an international school, Anne-Marie is a primary school teacher. We all love the mountains, and especially skiing. Ever since we worked in Geneva, we have always loved Chamonix and have always dreamed of having a base there. That dream came true this year with this apartment.
Although the apartment is new to us this year, we have also owned two other apartments in La Plagne and Val Thorens for many years.

This apartment is very unique in Chamonix. There are very few places this close to the centre and amenities, that are in such a quiet area, with their own garden, views over Mont Blanc and this well appointed.
Our recent five night stay in this apartment was a highlight of our France trip. Wonderfully located in the centre of town, an easy walk to everything. Secure parking for those with a car as well.
The apartment was clean and spacious, and the garden would be great to utilize in warmer weather.
Easy communication with the owners and the local contact Ash, which made the whole "check in/out" process a breeze.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

This is the third apartment we have rented during ski weeks in Chamonix - a place that we always love to visit. This apartment is also the best one yet! With easy access, central location, secure parking, room to move, stunning mountain views, all the comforts you need in a home away from home and very responsive owners, you couldn't ask for much more.
Our family of 2 adults and 2 children enjoyed the apartment for one week during Feb 2014. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, the kids had a bunk bed each and there was an additional comfy sofa bed in the living room though we didn't need to use it. TV reception was good and we loved being able to hook our ipad to the bose sound dock to listen to our music. Wifi was also trouble-free (which was not the case in our other two rentals). The two bathrooms were large and functional. All the appliances worked well. It was very handy having a washer and dryer for the quick skiwear washes.
Being on the ground floor means that this corner apartment has a decent-sized garden. With the river flowing out front and the mountains in full view (Aiguille du Midi included), the setting is really quite special.
We do recommend this apartment very highly and hope that we have future opportunities to return! Thank you Derry family.
Myself and 4 others have just got back from this apartment, where we enjoyed a brilliant week exploring the wonders of Chamonix.
The apartment felt much bigger than we had anticipated from the photographs, was very homely as well as being quite modern, thanks to very beautifully chosen furniture and decor.
The lounge/dinning area was great for relaxing after a hard day on the pistes. We would either watch a film (you can connect your laptop to the TV), listen to music (you can play your phone/iPod through the stereo), or play cards round the huge dinning room table.
The kitchen has everything you could need during your stay, and is separated from the lounge/dinning area by a sliding door.
The two bathrooms mean you don't have to wait long to get in the shower or bath after getting back from the slopes. The washer and dryer was also very useful.
The garden was also much larger than we had expected, and ran alongside the stream which runs through town. I can imagine this being a great space for BBQ's during summer stays.
Although we didn't drive to Chamonix, the garage would have been crucial if we had as roadside parking in Chamonix seems limited. The Ski locker was also very useful.
The location of this property really was fantastic and a real surprise. A two minute walk lands you amongst shops and restaurants in a very nice part of town, then another two minutes takes you into the heart of Chamonix where you'll find many great bars as well as more shops and restaurants.
The nearest bus stop is a three minute walk, which we used to get to all the different ski areas. Alternatively the nearest chairlift is less than ten minutes walk which gives you access to Brevent & Flegere.
Having snowboarded in many resorts across the Alps, I can easily say that Chamonix is hard to beat. — I definitely plan on returning to Chamonix, and to this apartment in the future!

The apartment is normally rented from Saturday to Saturday, but we will consider other periods in low season. The price is per apartment and includes electricity, wifi and all linens.
A deposit of 250 pounds is required to reserve the apartment which will be returned to you at the end of your stay provided the apartment is left undamaged.
Payment can also be made in Euros as well as UK pounds.
