The newly renovated Kelley House (named after Captain Charles Kelley, the ship captain who built this house in 1850), is a centrally located 4 bedroom Victorian, which has retained much of its 1850 charm while offering newly renovated bathrooms and a modern kitchen. Enjoy spacious air-conditioned rooms with hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings in all 3 second floor bedrooms (the 1st floor bedroom/full bath is ideal for those who find stairs difficult). Five skylights throughout the second floor, and stained glass adds to the charming atmosphere. If you are not gazing at the stars through the skylights, you may be enjoying our farmhouse table in the sunny dining room or relaxing in our conversation couch in the living area enjoying your friends or watching Netflix on the smart tv. You won't be crowded here with the use of our large storage shed for bikes and beach gear and our outdoor living area and beautiful garden. Two minute walk down Arch Street to Commercial Street, the bay beach, shopping and the market. A five minute walk from MacMillan Pier where the high speed Boston ferry arrives. There is parking for 4 cars on the crushed shell driveway next to our yard which is enclosed with a white picket fence. Pet friendly with owner's permission. High speed internet/wi-fi and a smart tv.

Very comfortable and easy

Six of us stayed here for a week to celebrate my birthday!! And we had a great time.

The house is even nicer than it looks in the photos and has everything you need on hand (utensils, glasses, grill, ample space). The main living area is arranged well for both group conversation and the occasional afternoon nap when everyone else is gone.

The bathrooms are all very modern and well designed. And the washer/dryer are a plus.

The store, Farland Provisions, is literally across the street for quick runs for supplies. (good breakfast sandwiches) Go north up conwell about 0.5 miles and you hit the ptown running/bike trails - super convinenet for a run or ride.

Amazing Stay for a long Weekend!

A group of friends and I stayed in Janet's beautiful home in the heart of Ptown. This location cannot be beat and the house was so more than expected -- recently remodeled, spacious, but also warm and cozy. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a large dinning/kitchen combination which made hanging out with a group easy and fun! We will definitely be back!

Most Excellent

I loved it. My girlfriend loved it. My dog loved it. The house is spacious, clean, well maintained, and quiet. The grill was clean and had gas, the kitchen had everything we needed to make fish, pasta, scallops and more. Main street is a block away, the beach is 2 blocks away, and there's a convenience store across the street. Wifi was reliable. The yard has space and was clean - what more can I say? This place is great. We'll definitely be coming back.

Perfect House, Perfect Cape Cod Vacation!

We were lucky enough to stay at the Kelley House for a week, and it exceeded expectations on every level. First of all, the location is extremely convenient - all of the fun on Commercial Street couldn't be more accessible, and we took full advantage of being within 2-3 blocks of quality espresso, delicious seafood, and, of course, the beach!!! A few other nearby notables: the incredibly fresh oysters and clams at Seafood Grille sell for a buck for most of the day and the outdoor seating is tops. The waterfront view at Pepe's (barely two blocks from the house) is stunning and shouldn't be missed. The house is a quick 2-mile drive (or run) from the nearby beach at Herring Cove, which has gorgeous clear water and is perfect for hanging out with friends or family. Shout-out, also, to the ice cream at The Nut House (10-minute walk via Commercial Street), which I'd seen featured on a national ice cream list and totally lives up to the hype.

The Kelley House itself meets all the usual needs of vacationers, and then some!!! The living room is a great hangout spot, and the couch is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen met all of our needs in terms of cooking/baking supplies - very, very well-stocked. The stovetop, in particular, is very modern and easy to use/clean and there's even a grill outside. Having the choice between eating at the breakfast nook in the kitchen, the large table in the dining room, and the sizeable table in the front yard was just icing on the cake! The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the vaulted ceilings on the upper level lend the best sort of rustic/beachy feel to that floor's bedrooms. Also, the house is decorated with awesome photos shot locally - I appreciated them even more near the end of the week when I could identify specific sites around town!

One of my favorite hangout spots was the table in the front yard - perfect for a coffee in the morning or a beer in the evening (from Far Land, the upscale convenience store across the street) . The front garden is incredibly pleasant in general and the fence is super practical - perfect for the dog!

One of the highlights of the week was a whale watching excursion with Dolphin Fleet: the guide was knowledgeable, the boat was dog-friendly, and, most importantly, we spent some serious time coasting alongside a number of humpback and minke whales!

Overall, the Kelley House was the perfect place to stay for a vacation week in Provincetown and I highly, highly recommend it!!!

Lovely, quaint little beach house

Fantastic little beach house located directly in the heart of Provincetown. Less than a 5 minute walk to the bay and across the street from Farlands (great food). You can go out shopping or for a night on the town without having to worry about getting home safely. The house is so quaint and beachy, it has a lot of character, and it's own bit of P-Town history! Highly recommended if you're considering a weekend getaway
