Amanda Brake purchased this apartment in 2002
We fell in love with the area 10 years ago after visiting friends and thought this big house would make a great home and guest house to make available others to come and enjoy this area too. One can never tirer of the amazing views from the terrace and the surrounded area. The area also has great history and lovely all year round festivals.
The view from the terrace of the village was our main attraction to the place and the unique archway entrance makes a pleasant escape for the mid-day summer sun. The vaulted ceiling in the basement which we are very excited about making into games room and Therapy area also has great potential but still needs some work. The flat rate price makes it straight forward easy to make you booking.
I will never forget waking up to the views from our bedroom and kitchen in this very comfortable apartment. Our hosts were terrific -- be sure and get a massage from Amanda -- helping with suggestions whenever needed, but though they were living nextdoor, totally unobtrusive. The region is fantastic -- Ascoli Piceno, Urbino, great mountain drives and coastal cities to get your seafood fix. I can't think of a better place to stay if you are looking for a country retreat, especially with a family and pets. Our only concern, was that it is a bit isolated, and we missed the sociability of staying in a small town where we could get to know storekeepers and neighbors. Thanks for everything!
How can one even begin to describe the view of a centuries old hill town across the lush valley from your deck? This is Casa Casali!!!! The home is lovely, well-appointed and well-stocked, including a bottle of the local Piceno Rosso wine on our arrival!!!! The beauty seen while walking through the village of Force, the convenience of Comunanza for "big city" needs, wonderfully friendly Joe the caretaker to greet us, and a last-evening barbeque with our hosts Dave & Amanda and their sons Lorenzo & Arthur, punctuated by the full moon rising over Force, all made for an unbelievably satisfying end to our 3-week Italian holiday. Italy got into our hearts, and our time here was a big part of that. We would love to return for a longer stay in the future.
A very lovely house in a quiet surroundings. we loved the view.
Having been fortunate enough to visit le marche area when I was much younger, I fell in love with it. It's beautiful scenery, incredible walks and mountains to explore. It's safe to say it made a first impression that was one of a kind. I was happy to find an apartment that was affordable for me and my partner, so that we could visit and I could show him some of the extraordinary places I experienced in my childhood and casa casali was the perfect setting for us. Idealic and rural, set back from all the fuss, surrounded by historic towns and breathtaking lakes. The beach is not far and not too over crowded, with lots of parks for children and great places to eat. Some of my favourite towns to visit are Sarnano and Amandola.
The people who own the apartment (Amanda) were incredibly helpful with showing us where was good to go, they made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our time their immensely!
A lovely place to stay, very comfortable. Would love to go back there one day, saving those pennies!!!
I, my wife and our 3 teenage kids really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very spacious with french doors opening onto a lovely terrace with a view to die for over the valley. It was well kitted out and served as the perfect base for our holiday as it was in between the great beaches on the Adriatic coast (30 mins drive)
and the wonderful Sibilini mountains with all its amazing ancient towns and villages and the super Lakes Fiastra and Garossa for picnics and fresh water swimming.
We also loved the region capital town of Ascoli Piceno where there was all the big town amenities we could want as well as the ancient town centre still superbly preserved and bursting with all the alfresco coffee shops and restaurants we could want.
The area was recommended to us by a friend as being like Tuscany but much cheaper. Having been to Tuscany, I would choose Le Marche after this stay, its more varied in what it offers and much more REAL Italy.
CasaCasali was very reasonably priced, especially when compared to what we paid when we stayed in Tuscany.
Many thanks to Amanda and her family who own the place, we look forward to many more holidays in your lovely house.
I MUST JUST SAY THAT WE STAYED AT CASACASALI IN JUNE 2011 BUT CAN ONLY GET THE CALENDAR TO GO BACK TO 2012 .

The apartment is situated in the breathtaking rolling hillside close to the Sibilini Natural Park, only 1.5 km from traditional Italian village Force with its many hilltop historical villages, and towns with mountains and lakes in the surrounding area. Where you will find swimming, horse riding, hiking, rafting, climbing, skiing. The City of Ascoli Piceno is only 25km away with a theatre, museums, shops, markets and the Plaza di Popolo a beautiful square with cafes and restaurants plus the fiesta Quintana in August is a must, fantastic sight of drummers and flag throwers and dancers in the square.
Also the famous Macerata town has its big Opera season.
The area has fine local wine and cuisine, to discover.
If its fine stretch of sandy golden beaches you want than only 35 min drive to Padaso, San Benedetto, or Porta S Giorgio with family fun festivals throughout the summer.
From the house there are amazing wooded walks, across the valley 1.5km to the village Force (for-chay). Once famous for its copper making which is still found in the village today. The local Force Eurobar cafe with its large terrace has breath taking views is a must, specially after your walk around the Friday morning market. You will find markets throughout the week in many of the local towns and villages.
