The Sugar Shack is AMAZING!!!
Our stay at the Sugar Shack was the most wonderful experience of any place we have ever stayed! We loved everything about it!! From being welcomed with home made bread, fresh cut flowers in every room, fruit on the dining room table, meat and cheese tray, a chilled bottle of wine and other drinks waiting for us, the gorgeous decor, and amazing artwork, all in this beautiful and lovingly designed home. Harrison is an extremely
gracious host! We contacted her quite a bit, throughout our stay, to ask about the beautiful pieces throughout the house and to ask for design advice for our own home. She was more than happy to share all the details and to advise us!! Every room in the home is inviting, and the ultimate in comfort and luxury. The bedroom and master bath are so very romantic!! Anyone who stays here will fall in love with this place, like we did!! We highly recommend staying here! We look forward to our future visits!!
A piece of PERFECT!
I hesitate to review-------Let me explain---I want to keep it MY secret! Because, this place is absolutely perfect! It was exactly what I needed and the hospitality was above and beyond. The host helped make my birthday celebration even more wonderful with the welcome tray and delicious cake....fresh flowers, added touches of convenience--too much to list. The first glimpse of the sky blue door set the tone for our stay. Oh! Did I mention the porch swing-bed and rain on the tin roof? We were an easy walk to Franklin Fourth of July Celebration and numerous places to eat or grab a drink. Just try it--you are going to love it!
It could not have been better
Beautiful property in Historic Franklin
This is probably the best Air BnB/HomeAway/VRBO experience that we have had. The home was beautiful, well-appointed and the owner provided a lot of thoughtful touches. If we are ever traveling in this area again we would definitely rent this property again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Jason, thank you for your thoughtful review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your time in our cottage❣️
We would love to have you back🤗
All the best,
Owner/Sugar Shack Franklin
Sugar Shack Sanctuary
My wife and I selected the Sugar Shack to enjoy two full weeks in Franklin/Nashville. The listing portrays a beautiful open and bright little cottage with high ceilings, a high-end interior finish, a modern kitchen, a comfortable covered porch overlooking a manicured lush lawn and garden, and just a short walk to downtown Franklin. The Sugar Shack met, or exceeded, all of our expectations. We walked most mornings to breakfast at Biscuit Love or coffee at the Frothy Monkey. Evenings were a short stroll to Pucketts, 55 South, Red Pony and Grays. We've visited Nashville and Franklin many times over the years. Staying in the Sugar Shack helped us experience what it might be like to be at home there.
Thank you for such a lovely review! You were wonderful guests and I really hope you come back again soon. Feel free to call anytime. I would love to keep in touch🥰
This is our second stay at this beautiful little house, and it was just as wonderful as before. Last time we stayed, it was cold and wet most of the trip so we didn't get to take advantage of the outdoor areas. This time the weather was nicer, so we spent some relaxing time around the fire pit, and sitting on the porch. Perfect!!!
Come vacation, leave your worries behind, and stay at The Sugar Shack, our cozy cottage, in the middle of downtown Franklin.
Park your car.
Enjoy walking to fine dining, great shopping, antiquing, art galleries, historical homes and wonderful live music all within walking distance from Sugar Shack. While you're in Franklin, be sure to visit the largest privately-owned Confederate Cemetary at The Carnton Plantation. Also be sure to take the time to visit The Carter House and The Lotz House.
