There are wild turkeys, hummingbirds, and an occasional shy deer. Boating on Lake Hiawassee is a beautiful way to view the surrounding mountains. Shook's marina, five miles from the cabin, offers boat rentals. Grocery stores are 30 minutes away, so plan accordingly.

Like camping in the woods on a creek, but you got all the comforts of home.
We recently stayed four nights at this cabin and the only complaint is I wish that I had booked more nights. My wife and I took advantage of the remote location to completely disconnect from work. That is what this cabin is designed to do. The location, layout, furnishings and surroundings are ideal for a true getaway. We will be back.
Quiet remote cabin that provided a great place to unplug.
This place is just what my family and I needed. The locations is beautiful and quiet! We had so much fun in the hot tub, hiking around the river, and just exploring the area around the cabin. The people in murphy were friendly and very helpful. We love this town and can't wait to come back. Small piece of advise don't listen to the GPS and turn off of the paved road when coming to the cabin. It's a clay drive and if it's raining it will make you slide. Follow the paved road all the way!
We selected this cabin for my daughter's 8th birthday celebration because there really is something for everyone to enjoy. My daughter and her friend LOVED the hot tub and my hubs LOVED the creek. We will definitely be booking a return visit!
