1-816-813-1444. Our chalet-style mountain home is located three-and-one-half miles from the slopes, behind the Vietnam Memorial State Park. It is nestled among the trees on 2 acres, with a great view of the mountains. Maximum sleeping is 10, although we prefer less.

Newly refurbished and decorated in southwestern decor, our mountain home is a pleasing retreat for all seasons. The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king-size bed, and an electric fireplace. The attached, large master bath has an adjacent walk-in closet/dressing area. Each upstairs bedroom has TWO queen-size beds. There is a single roll-a-way in one of the bedrooms, great for a child, and another full size mattress available in the upstairs landing area. There is also an electric fireplace in one of the upstairs bedrooms. All bedrooms, living room, and kitchen have TVs, satellite, and VCR/DVDs. We also have high speed fiber optics, for your convenience. (FREE WIFI)

Our kitchen and dining room has new porcelain tile. The horse-themed dining room also has an iron gas heat stove. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans, crock pot, griddle, George Foreman grill, toaster, coffee pot, blender, and more. There is a dishwasher and microwave. A large mudroom and half bath is located off the dining area, where our washer and dryer are located.

Two beautiful decks expand the living areas in good weather, with one deck covered. There is a balcony deck off one of the upstairs bedrooms, and plenty of deck furniture makes for great entertaining.

We have generous parking for large or small groups, and plenty of space for your ATVs, RV's, snowmobiles, bikes, etc. This is the perfect 'getaway' place for a skiing or golf vacation, family reunion, second honeymoon, or just a cool retreat from hot summers. Chaperoned church groups are welcome

Our properties are premium lodging, yet we choose to offer them at affordable prices, making it easier for families and couples to experience this beautiful and fantastic area, called, 'ANGEL FIRE.' (PLEASE CALL US DIRECT TO RESERVE. 1-816-813-1444

Our chalet is smoke free, and, sorry, no pets.

We love this place

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed here a few different times and we always enjoy it. Jim and Becky have created a comfortable, homey place that is so special to come home to after a long day of Angel Fire activity. We love sitting out on the big porch and enjoying the sounds of the wind in the trees. The beds are comfortable and the house is clean and inviting. We plan to go back again and again! Highly recommend!

WOw... Just stunning.

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I travel quite a bit, and after having said that you can imagine that we as a group have rented many places. Now, out of all of the places we rented, this has to be among the best. It was roomy, it looked great, the house was well kept and beautifully decorated in keeping with the mountain scheme, there was more than plenty of room, it was secluded just enough that you had privacy, yet not so much that you felt you were in the beginnings of a horror movie, and the stars, wow you could see the nighttime sky perfectly just by stepping off the front porch. Now, on the subject of angel fire and other such resorts near there. what can i say, its less then a ten minute drive to get to the base of the angel fire mountain, and on top of that you don't even have to go to angel fire, you can go right by the turn off and you will be led to all of the other resorts simply by just following the road (albeit there is a turn of here and there, and it takes longer than ten minutes to reach them.) that leads past the resorts. I was most certainly pleased with our stay and i would love to visit again.

A great vacation

  • 4 of 5

We spent a restful, wonderful week at Jim and Becky's this past July. The area lent itself to beautiful scenery, solitude, geocaching and numerous afternoons on the deck watching the rain. From the front porch it seems as if you are the only people on the mountain. The location is awesome if you are looking for quiet, peaceful and restful surroundings. We spent the days visiting surrounding towns like Taos and Red River along with a quick trip to Eagle Nest for a snack at the Saloon. Becky and Jim were wonderful hosts. They were at the chalet when we arrived and we were able to meet them. They are a wonderful couple and it is easy to see why they love the area and their chalet. If you are looking for a restful uninterrupted get way, this is the place for you. A wonderful surprise in the beautiful mountains of New Mexico. Thank you for the wonderful vacation. Sincerely, the Kansas Connection.

Jim & Becky's place is GREAT!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time to stay with Jim & Becky. They are GREAT hosts!

The house is nestled in the pines with easy access to both Eagle River and Angel Fire. There is easy walking close by, it is not far from the Vietnam Memorial, and the neighbors are far enough away for lots of privacy, but close in case of problems. It's a lovely quiet place that tempts you to stay inside instead of do all the things you came to do!

VISIT! STAY! You'll be glad you did!
