About the property

- 3 BR, 1 BA, Sleeps 6 max

This charming bungalow is the real Provincetown deal. It is centrally located on a quiet residential street across from the Fine Arts Work Center and only a few minutes to shops on Commercial Street. Only a block from the beach, Wired Puppy, Far Land and 141 Bradford Natural Market. A lovely yard and garden, huge mahogany deck, wi-fi and two parking spots make it perfect. This isn't a run-of-the mill white box condo. It is a 1500 sq. ft. home fully furnished in eclectic Provincetown style with three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, enclosed sun porch and reading alcove. There is plenty of space for entertaining. Original hardwood floors throughout. There is a bathroom with huge soaking tub and separate shower. We love this house and you will too! ** Credit cards gladly accepted. You can also pay by check, eCheck, Paypal or any of the other widely available e-transaction platforms **

a classic ptown experience

  • 5 of 5

hands down my favorite place to stay in ptown. close to the center of town and an easy bike ride to the beach, but at the same time on a lovely quiet street. the house is beautiful inside and out, with more amenities than most vacation homes (beach umbrellas for the borrowing, washer/dryer, a well-appointed kitchen) and a welcoming, airy feel.

Beautiful, quiet and well appointed house

  • 5 of 5

This house is beautiful, well appointed, super clean and well maintained. The bathroom is gorgeous and large. The beds are soft so if you are looking for a firm bed, this is not your place. The kitchen is very complete, and updated from the original arts and crafts kitchen in a cohesive and functional way. The house is funky and eclectic with many original or vintage elements. The driveway is large enough for two cars. The house is in a quiet location, yet just steps away from town. The kitchen is well equipped and the backyard deck is a quiet haven to relax. Would definitely come back here again!

If these walls could talk

  • 5 of 5

This was my fourth year in Provincetown and my fourth time spending the week at Laura’s home. Since that first year, Laura’s place has felt like home. Like it was waiting for me. Like I had been coming here all my life. There is something special about its comfortable rooms, its large kitchen, its pastoral yard. At times I felt like I was living on a movie set. And thinking back on the week it kind of was like a movie. My Provincetown memories are so entwined with this house that I can’t think of staying anywhere else. All those good times (and the good times of all the others who have stayed here) seem remembered in those walls. I invite you to add yours to them.

YES!

This house is outstanding. It's full of character, spacious and great for a bunch of people at the same time, but also very cozy and intimate. A great place for dinner parties, hanging out on the porch, soaking in the bath, resting, or adventuring.

Laura is a very responsible home owner, knowledgeable about and engaged with goings-on in Provincetown, and an all-around stellar human being.

The property is beautiful - gorgeous garden, stylishly furnished home, very well maintained. The soaking tub is quite a treat.

The neighborhood is delightful.

I can't say enough great things about the place and I look forward to my next visit. I've been there several times during peak and off-peak seasons.

Beyond Dreamy

  • 5 of 5

Oh my god, I <3 this house. It's a very special place.

The house is impeccably maintained. It's got tons of character and flair and a really good energy to it. It is clear that this is a well-loved house. I could (and did!) spend hours cooking in that beautiful kitchen and lounging in that luscious deep soaking tub! The house is in the *perfect* location--right off the main drag to be convenient and just enough off the main drag that it's incredibly quiet and feels like you're "away." It's just a short bike-ride (and even shorter car ride) to the National Seashore (best beaches ever!), and amazing hiking through beech forest and cranberry bogs or expansive sand dunes dotted with dune shacks. I have stayed at this house on multiple occasions and Laura (the owner) is always friendly and responsive to all my questions and needs.

Spacious, charming Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This accommodation was everything I could expect and even more. The location is close to town activities but quietly away from daily chaos. Proximity to good coffee cafe, two healthy convenience/food store was a plus great.

The house itself was spacious and easily accommodated myself and two others in privacy. The updated bath was sumptuous. I particularly enjoyed the large sunny deck. I enjoyed it so much I have reserved again next year for two more weeks.
