About the property

It is a very pretty house, adorned with slate stone, and with a fenced garden of 2000 m2 . Inside the property there is a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests (also fenced for safety), a huge pool for a detached house, with 135 m3 (135,000 liters) of water. The pool contains slightly salty water to improve the well-being of bathers (saline chlorination) as well as night lighting. In the garden, there is barbecue, a picnic area, a large trampoline for children and arenal to play. It is a house perfectly suited to enjoy the holidays, with everything that a family may need for several days.

The house has a hall, with a sofa and a zone with toys for children (that can be used). A door opens to the sleeping area, with two double bedrooms, and two rooms with beds (one with two and another with three beds). Likewise, there is a sink with shower, and a small room to comb or shave, with a water spike. To finish, the ground floor has a garage, with a washing machine, an auxiliary refrigerator, and space for bicycles or motorcycles.

The second floor is accessed by a staircase, where there is a large living/dining room, with a table and a large sofa to relax or watch TV. Around the entire living room, and outwardly, there is a flowered balcony that surrounds the whole house. On this balcony there is a table for breakfast or dinner outside. From this balcony, the landscape is very beautiful, with the pool on one side, and a mountain with green trees on the other. In a room attached to the dining room, there is the kitchen, which has a dishwasher and refrigerator.

The house is located in an area with secluded houses, in a quiet street near the main road. There is a bar and restaurant within 200 m. Concurrently, there is a sports court that can be used (with goals and baskets). It is a very quiet area, where the most notable noise may be the hens, donkeys or pets.

The landscape is very beautiful, as it is an area with abundant rain, which allows a very varied flora and fauna, with fountains and abundant streams. The garden is also green and cared for, with shaded areas and shrubs and flowering plants.

Why Xavier FELIPE chose Sant Martí de Llémena

My father built the house in 1970 (and later rehabilitated) and it was the summer house of the family, where we spent the summer. As it is 15 minutes drive from the capital (Girona), it meant being able to enjoy a superb landscape next to the main city of the area.

What makes this villa unique

The main attraction of the house is the swimming pool, which can accommodate a simultaneous bath of 25 or 30 people. The house has a balcony where you can enjoy the leafy landscape of the area. The layout of the different rooms of the house is very practical and functional. The house, with the garden and swimming pool, can be used for several days to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay, or at the same time can be used as a starting point to visit and visit the northern area of Catalonia (Figueras, Girona, Barcelona, Garrotxa, Empordà ....), it is a 10-minute drive from the A-7 motorway.

Xavier, the owner, could not have been more helpful and spoke great English. The house had everything we needed and was in a very quiet location. Having breakfast on the balcony in the sun, overlooking the countryside was wonderful. The main bedroom was a little small, but other than that, all was good. The huge pool was a perfect temperature. would well recommend staying here. You do need a car though as it is a few miles to the nearest shop.

Nice getaway in green surroundings

We had a nice stay, the house is ok equipped. The balcony with good seats and all day sun or shadow and super views of the hills is a great plus. The huge pool is also very nice for swimming and relaxing in hot weather. Girona, the coast and Barcelona are easy to reach.

Très chouette maison (propre et confortable)avec une magnifique piscine très bien entretenue, entourée d'un agréable jardin. Très belle vue de la terrasse. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et accueillants. bref endroit idéal pour passer de très bonnes vacances!!

The house is located near Girona, in Llorà, where we have a beautiful Romanesque church (at 10 km and 10 minutes by car), the main city in the province, a city that has all amenities (restaurants, cinemas, theater, shops and malls, etc). Girona is a monumental and very tourist city, from where you can go anywhere in Northern Catalonia (most beaches of the Costa Brava are about 40 Km, Pyrenees, 100 km from Barcelona, ​​Figueres, etc).

The landscape around the house is beautiful: it is on the edge of a natural park, with mountains with lush forests, volcanoes, crystal clear streams, fountains, etc. .

We conduct satisfaction surveys at the end of the holiday, and most visitors are very satisfied with the house (4 and 5 points out of a maximum of 5 points).
