2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with garden and very close to beach
Spacious south facing 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with all you need for a home from home stay.
This apartment has just been repainted, new curtains, cushions plus outside furniture added.
The apartment is located on the Iberlagos development, being very close to the beautiful Lagos beaches and having 2 communal swimming pools and tennis courts.
The apartment has wonderful sea views and is south facing so receives the sun all day. Both bedrooms have 2 single beds, wardrobes and heaters for cooler winter days. The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric fan oven (newly installed January 2017) dishwasher and is well organised if you wish to spend some time preparing food.
The lounge is comfortable and welcoming with a comfy sofa and 2 armchairs. There is a TV with cable tv and a DVD player with a selection of dvds. There is a music player with connection for MP3 players (ipods etc.) Wifi and a washing machine are also available.
The outside area of the apartment is spacious with a bathroom including shower to wash the sand off from days spent on the beach. There is a barbecue, making the area ideal for eating alfresco and entertaining. Beach parasols, beach towels and cold box are provided for your use.
A new sofa, chairs and table recently added to the outside terrace.
Onsite facilities include the large communal pools; one is a childrens' pool and the other is an adult pool with adjacent showers and toilets, poolside cafe (with wifi), tennis courts and Martial Arts (both to be booked and paid for separately, details on site).
The swimming pools were completely renewed in 2016.
The golf resorts of Boa Vista, Palmares, Parque da Floresta and Espiche are only a short drive away.
Day trips to watch the Dolphins, go deep sea fishing, hire boats, visit grottoes, and water theme parks, can all be booked locally.
The historic town of Lagos has a marina, a huge selection of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. There is also a Cultural Centre and outdoor auditorium. Faro Airport is 50 min. by car, airport transfer or train direct to Lagos.

A super apartment; moments away from the beach & within easy walking distance from the bars and restaurants of Lagos.
Equipped with absolutely everything that you could possibly need throughout your stay. Plenty of books, dvds & games should you decide to spend an evening in.
Beds were very comfortable with quality linen, a splendid nights sleep was had by all every night.
Would definitely recommend, and it would be my first choice of accommodation should We visit the lovely Lagos again.
Good location and well equipped
Very short walk to a lovely beach and only approx 5/10 mins walk into Lagos town where there are lots of restaurants and shops. There's a small local supermarket near by and the larger 'Intermarche' is only approx 5 mins drive. Also near by are the old town walls and fortification, several other beaches, many boat trip options and a well maintained pro putting green aka 'crazy golf'.
Clean and comfortable. Very well equipped (from dishwasher to tennis rackets to cool box). Small kitchen area but again very well equipped with everything you'd need for self catering. Outside area may well be south facing but it certainly does not receive the sun all day due to high buildings all around... sun is only present on the seating area for a few hours in the morning. Bathrooms were a bit of a disappoinment - the inside bathroom is a good size however the shower is over a bath tub where the water doesn't drain and the outside bathroom doubles as storage which needed clearing and cleaning before it could be used.
Iberlagos complex 2/5
Biggest disappointment was the swimming pool area where they charge for sunbeds and umbrellas and won't let you take your own. The description of the pool states 'communal' but a better description would be 'public' as anyone can pay to use it. It got very busy at the weekend with local children and one day there was even a birthday party being held there. Games area has pool and table tennis tables. Bar staff were friendly and the food and drink prices were very reasonable. Tennis court was again reasonably priced but in desperate need of weeding. The on site shop is very basic but has the essentials such as water (and ice creams).
Very nice spot ! Very clean and perfect view and very close from the beach.
I really appreciate stay at this place. It was very beautiful and close from everything. The beach is amazing and the pool as well.
The only point I would appreciate is to have a little bit more product for cooking (ex: oïl, salt or Pepper, spices, etc.).
But overall, you will enjoy you stay at this appartment.

lovely 2 bedroom apartment
We love staying at the Iberlagos apartments just on the outskirts of Lagos, the view of the Donna Anna beach is stunning. This time we stayed in D block with a sunny position and a large patio area, the apartment was spacious and very well equipped, a home from home.
We found the single beds a tad hard but as the bedrooms are in the back, it was peaceful and quiet.
The apartment is only a short walk (approx 15mins) to the old town, marina, shops and restaurants.
Tranquil, yet close to beautiful beach and the city centre
We stayed for almost two months at this well equipped apartment. Breakfast in the morning sun was a daily treat as was afterbeach lounging in the shade. The short distance to almost everything is a big plus as are the extremely friendly and helpful landlords, Veronica and Richard.

Lagos is surrounded by history, many enjoyable beaches with fine golden sands. The historic part of the town with its narrow cobbled streets has hardly changed over the decades. Look for a good variety of cafes serving local and European foods with esplanades where everyone gathers to just watch the world go by. English and European food is plentiful. Lots of children activities. Make sure you choose one of the many low cost trips to see sea grottos, go fishing, dolphin watching and kayaking. There are waterparks such as Slide & Splash with discount vouchers. Zoo Marine is a marine life theme park with plenty to see. There is also an animal Zoo 5km away accessible by car or bus. There is great coastal walking all year round, bike hire and Jeep Safaris. There are great surfing beaches nearby. Two golf courses adjoin the Lagos town and there are 25 + more to play in the Algarve region. Historic day trips (Silves, Monchique, Trips to Sagres and the St Vincent Coast) can also be booked. Other Activities: Motor sport race track within 10 KM (Autodromo Internacional do Algarve) Golf: Many beautiful Golf courses are within 10km of Lagos Town. Check local guides. Specifically, there are two golf courses adjoin Lagos town and there are 25 more and counting in the Algarve region within short and reasonable driving distance. Close by is Palmares golf course which is a 18 hole, par 71 course, 5961m long. Must be played to appreciate the spectacular views of both sea and mountains. The 1st hole probably being the most striking in the Algarve with its high tee position pointing out to the sea. The newest addition called the Bostavista Golf course less than three years old this is a 18 hole par 71, 5751m long. In the apartment complex you will stay at there is one dedicated car parking space in the locked basement providing total security for clubs etc. Lagos has a number of golf shops who can do special deals for some courses. Within the Iberlagos apartment complex you will stay at, there are permanent private security personnel and on-street car parking.

This apartment is registered in accordance with Portugese rental laws no. 5417/AL 27.01.2015 following an inspection by the authorities. Full directions are provided when the final payment is received along with the provision of passport information etc. The immigration information is mandatory as this has to be provided to the Immigration authorities. This apartment is self check in from 14 hrs and check out on the final day is by 10 hrs although we try to be flexible where possible but it is usually difficult in high season. Payment of the refundable security deposit secures the reservation with the final payment being required 8 weeks (50 days) before arrival. Paypal is proving to be a little expensive (please note all charges incurred are the responsibility of the client). Transferwise is a very good option with cheaper fees than Paypal. Please let me know if you would like more information regarding Transferwise. Winter heating is charged €50 per week during December, January and February.
