Ray and Sue have lived in Caton for 17 yrs, and saw the exciting potential when purchasing the property which is now, The Quarters !
Ray is originally from Manchester, Sue has moved around more, but also originates from the North of England. Our love of the north is clearly demonstrated by the number of maps and books which we have for guests to borrow; we are both keen walkers, and can assist with walks of different levels, and some beautiful vistas await you,
We both work part time, so have plenty of time to ensure that the apartment is spick and span for your arrival. Rays background is in teaching, Sue has a Learning disability nursing background, and has a lot of experience working with people with an ASC.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2004

We (2 adults, 3 children aged 10, 12, 14 and dog) found the apartment very welcoming, with loads of local info to browse through on arrival. The local info was very useful and accurate which we used a lot. The village has some lovely walks and wished we could have stayed longer to explore more. The location of the apartment is excellent for those who want to visit the Lakes for a relaxing time or a more active time in Blackpool of which we did both! We were impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and that it had all the home comforts, and more, e.g welcoming provisions and the beds all ready made up. The Ship Pub we highly reccommend for meals out and also The Royal Oak (about 4 miles away). A very family orientated base to organise your holiday from. Will certainly try to go there again.
It will be beautiful locution and great choose
It's like home from home. Sue was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. As a wheelchair user, The Quarters was very accessible, alot more than most places where I have stayed, who have said that they have been wheelchair accessible.
The place was nice and clean. The owners were very friendly, welcoming us and flexible to our needs. It was also great value for money and is only 10 min drive to Lancaster. We would definitely stay again. Thanks.
Wishing to visit relatives in the area we were looking for a place to stay. This ticked all the boxes for us when viewing it online. When we arrived it was great to see it exceeded our expectations. The owners have put a lot of effort into making guests feel welcome and the little touches (like providing detergent for the washing machine) made our stay even better. The next time we are planning to be in the area we will look to stay here again.
listing description shows semi detached property cottage not an apartment, the property was not cleaned .owners customer service was disgraceful keys left under watering can, never shown round the property. will never be back will not recommend this to anyone they should be ashamed to take the payment for the conditions.
